Candidates backed by former President Donald J. Trump had a near-perfect night in the South Carolina, Nevada, and North Dakota primaries Tuesday evening as 12 candidates secured their nominations, while only one lost her race. Trump’s endorsement record now stands at 129-8 in Republican primaries this midterm election cycle.

How much is a Biden endorsement worth now? Or a Kamala Harris endorsement worth? How did her last fundraiser event go?

To add your name to the growing Nevada ping list, FReepmail me...
And where his candidates lost was where there was ‘open’ primary
And all the democrats voted against his republican picks
THAT will never be reported on the alphabet networks.
Only 94%? Looks like DeSantis has a clear path.
Don’t get me wrong, I like DeSantis, but I am puzzled by so many getting twitterpated over the mere thought of him, considering it was Trump that basically put him in office.
I don't know why Republicans ever agreed to this nonsense. It only helps Rats and RINOs
We like him because he is Trump without all the baggage that drives “some” of the RINO’s away.
Since he picks front-runners, rather than the best candidates, I’m not that surprised.
Having 20 or even 50 more loses on his record would be worth it if even just 2 or 3 good candidates who weren't expected to win won.
Nor on NPR:
(National PRAVDA Radio).
I would like to know how many of his losers were open primaries. I venture a guess that most are in open primaries.
FTM i’d like to know about his winners too.
That Mace girl is a never Trumper and Trump congratulated her. To me this is a problem. Trump is very gracious in defeat but the Mitch wing will work to kneecap anyone he doesn’t support against the Dems. Trump needs some of that.
You said the secret out loud.
Harris fundraiser was postponed because not enough tickets were sold.
We like him because he is Trump without all the baggage that drives “some” of the RINO’s away.
The RINOS are just waiting for the GOP base to discard Trump. Then they will bring the same knives out for DeSantis. They are in “anybody but Trump” mode now. There is no MAGA without Trump. There barely was with him.
while there may be some truth to what you are saying, the sad fact is everyone is mortal including Trump, and we need to be looking forward towards the future. MAGA is bigger than Trump and can and must continue on without him at some point, or it’s doomed to the lifespan of Trump.
There is a certain “type” of actually VERY conservative Republicans that don’t like Trump, but would support Desantis.
I don’t know what exactly to call them, but they are the type of conservative that gets really upset when people use cuss words.
Agreed. And I would prefer it if he helped stuff congress full of ultra-MAGA people. But from his perspective it's not just about a PR victory of being able to say "I am a kingmaker, look at my record of endorsements". Trump was continuously kneecapped by Congress. The Senate worked against him too, less publicly but the GOP senate coalition has been far more helpful to Biden than it ever was to Trump and that's a fact. If he's strategically thinking, Trump needs to try to cultivate some good will in both chambers. And though endorsements are no binding agreement (looking at you, Mitt Romney you no good sack of excrement) it cant hurt to have some people there who feel some level of gratitude to him if he does indeed get back to the White House in 2025. He might even manage to get some things done.
He'd definitely have the support of ultra-MAGA members but there will be fewer of them. I think he is gambling that he can water down the Bush wing of the party basically by becoming something of an insider himself as a kingmaker. And he can only do that if his candidates win.
Good record so far, even if I don’t agree with all of his endorsements. He is successfully cleaning out a few RINOs and Never Trumpers, which is good.
