I wish it’d do something or move on so I can see the moon. LOL!
I watched them both, on a regular basis. But if somebody's rank gets mentioned once .... and only once, in the pilot episode when all these characters started out as complete strangers to you ... that's one of the details that might get missed later on.
I'm having mixed emotions about the rain down there too. I want so bad to see you get some rain but tonight, not so much.
Next you’ll be telling me that German POW camps weren’t a laugh riot.
Beautiful! The haze gives the moon some mystery! I need to go peek out now.
They weren’t? Say it isn’t so! ;)
Yes, the clouds brightened things enough to see the outline of the trees without obscuring the moon.
I hope your clouds have moved out so you can see the moon now.
It was behind some thin clouds but very bright even at that.
8 of 12. ;-( The four I missed were programs which I had never watched.
:-)
At least you got to see it. Maybe the clouds will clear out and you can get a clear view.
You got 14 out of 12!
That kind of performance deserves a medal.
IT WAS TOO EASY!!! ALL I HAD TO DO WAS COPY THE RESULTS OF MY QUIZ, DELETE THEM, AND TYPE IN THESE!!!
CHEATING HAS NEVER BEEN THIS EASY SINCE FLIGHT SCHOOL!...AND DESPITE PULLING MY LICENSE AFTER THE “INCIDENT”, THE FAA AND NTSB WERE NEVER ABLE TO PROVE ANYTHING!!! NADA!...WHERE WAS I?
Well, you did good! Dude!
I’m sure it will sometime in the next 24 hours. It was mighty bright last night for sure.
Those clouds need to just move on out since they aren’t dumping any rain.
We have some smoke haze creating a halo around the moon but it’s still very bright and pretty.
I thought to look at just the right moment. LOL
HOWDY RADU,
THAT’S A BEAUTIFUL PHOTO!...AND THE VERY REASON I GAVE UP PHOTOGRAPHY ENTIRELY.
I got interested in photography in my mid-teens and a man on my street, the father of one of my friends and an avid photographer, encouraged and mentored me. He said he’d lend me one of his cameras, and gave me a basic 35mm camera, an EXACTA, with a separate light meter. Being a know nothing arrogant teen, I was very disappointed. I wanted one of his NIKON’S, OR AT LEAST A PENTAX! SOMETHING WITH A THROUGH THE LENS AUTOMATIC LIGHT METER! INSTEAD I GOT A HAND HELD LIGHT METER. Right away I saw that there were lots of different settings that would give a properly exposed photo.
“What setting should I use?”
“What kind of a photo do you want?”
“Whadda ya mean?”, and off I went on a decades long endeavor to learn, understand, master the compromises of optics, lens openings (apertures/F-Stops), shutter speeds, film types, film speeds (sensitivity to light), grains (for B&W), focal lengths of lenses/depth of focus, and a million and two other factors. I worked, studied, learned lab work, developed film and photos, joined clubs, and shot a whole lotta film. Within a few decades I mastered the art, and became quite expert, if I say so myself.
A few years ago my wife, TigerEagle, bought her first iPhone, probably not much different than what you used to capture that magnificent image of the full moon over the trees. All she ever had to do was point the camera, compose the shot, “That’s good.”, and press the button...like you, she got the most magnificent exposures without a thought about any of the stuff I spent decades mastering. AND NOW YOU CAN SEE THE RESULTS INSTANTLY! I’M CERTAINLY NOT KNOCKING YOU OR TigerEagle, but I gave ALL my cameras, lenses, filters, film, and camera bags away, and carry my camera system (for all intents just as good as ALL that other stuff) and lab, in my pocket, on my phone.
Making the transition wasn’t easy as I come from that branch of the human family that accepted the use of fire only three generations ago!
MAGNIFICENT PHOTO!
Your timing was just right! :)
