Proud Boys storm drag queen event for children at Bay Area library, deputies say

SAN LORENZO, Calif. -- A group of five men police say appeared to be members of right-wing extremist group Proud Boys disrupted a LGBTQ event for children at the San Lorenzo Library on Saturday.

Alameda County Sheriff's Dept. Lt. Ray Kelly said the group entered the library about 1:30 p.m., during an event called Drag Queen Story Time. Kyle Chu, also known as drag queen Panda Dulce, hosted a story hour meant for preschool-aged children in celebration of Pride Month.

"The men made homophobic and transphobic remarks against a member of the LGTBQ+ community who was hosting the event," Kelly wrote in an email. "There was no physical violence. Deputies responded to the disturbance and are conducting follow up to identify the group of men and their affiliation."

The rationale used to put children in the company of obvious perverts, is the same satanic rationale used to promote all the precursory revolutionary movements that led us to this point of downfall. There was a time when I would have thought that this event was invaded by actual, real right wing activists/concerned citizens and that anyone who claimed those activists were nothing but undercover federal agents and/or agitators paid and instructed by the feds to invade this event, were nothing but conspiracy theorists. Misguided and ignorant at the very least. Mentally ill at the very worst.

Now....I’m among the people who thinks this incident just SCREAMS of federal agents and/or their paid agitators invading and disrupting this event solely for the reason to poison the reputations and public image of other right wing groups and organizations. (They used to do this in the 1960s and 1970s with the anti-war groups and black panthers, among other left wing groups. So, the feds are old hands at this.)

I don’t know who the Proud Boys really are…that is, nobody is objective about them and it’s all “right wing extremist white racists” all the time.

But whoever they are, they’re right on this one. As even the article admits, there was no violence, just a verbal expression of opposition to the organizers of this event.But - since they’ve been hauling harmless parents out of meetings and events for doing exactly the same - I guess overreacting to non-Dem speech is the key and that this constitutes “storming.”
