James Hartley Fri, June 10, 2022, 6:44 PM The 15-year-old girl who was taken from a Dallas Mavericks game in April and later found in an Oklahoma City hotel being prostituted had a passing interaction with a man suspected of being involved during the second quarter, according to a news release from the attorney representing the girl and her family.
During the second quarter of the Mavericks game at American Airlines Center in Dallas, the girl got up to go to the bathroom, according to the release. Surveillance video provided to the attorney with Fortenberry Firm PLLC showed the girl speak to a man on the concourse while they were passing each other and then rush to catch up with and follow him.
The man, who along with two others used a valid ticket to get into the American Airlines Center and then was escorted to a suite for which they did not have tickets by a former Dallas Mavericks employee, walked out of the building with the girl and spent about an hour walking around outside the center with her before leaving, according to the release. Zeke Fortenberry, who is representing the family, said in the release there is no evidence the man and girl had any prior communication.
The 15-year-old was found 10 days later at an Extended Stay America hotel where she was being prostituted, according to Fortenberry. His law firm said in a previous email to the American Airlines Center, Dallas police and the hotel that they failed the victim and her family.

I did think that it was an odd take of the event. This was clearly parental control, or the lack thereof, not some man she was there with.
I can’t imagine thinking that if I did not “control my wife well enough”, she would willingly go off with strange men and prostitute herself. But, I will admit that the US is not like most of the world.

At a mall I worked at a news reporter set up a van outside to test young girls to see if they would follow men out to the van. In every single case they went to the van..
Parents were interviewed afterwords and dumbfounded their girls went right out. These were parents who had taught their girls about not going with men etc.

Intuition is not the same as ‘feeling’. Intuition is usually based on legitimate awareness of which one may not be conscious.

Young girls are all wrapped up in themselves - and how they look. Thus any fake photographer or model agent can easily lead them away. These preditors often hang out at malls and other places where crowds of people go since they aren’t easily detected...and there’s a vast number of unescorted kids.
What the parents don’t want to get out is that she was apparently something of a wayward girl to begin with and went with that guy voluntarily. Still she was underaged and the scumbag who trafficked her should be dealt with harshly.

As a woman I will say that most of us tend towards appeasement not confrontation. We are more easily gaslit. We submit to authority with less question. These can be features not bugs but yes as a sex we are vulnerable in these areas. Doesn’t mean we are stupid or can’t spell.
As a former teen girl I will unequivocally state they need a loving father in charge. Sorry but younger teenage girls are mostly nuts.
Once we mature we can definitely be the most sane person in the room.
more heinous black on white crime - not a hate crime of course - and races won’t be reported. But when a drug crazed thug gets a little too rough treatment from a cop, it’ll be national news with blaring sirens for weeks on end about how whites are evil and blacks are poor little victims of never ending white racism.
Can’t they just execute the perps? After a fair trial of course? They deserve it. This is the deepest depth of evil you will find, to do this to someone.
