Donald Trump turned on his daughter Ivanka Trump after her testimony to the committee investigating the January 6th insurrection revealed she didn't think the 2020 presidential election was rigged.
In a 17-second clip of her interview to the committee that was played during Thursday's primetime hearing, Ivanka backs up Trump Attorney General Bill Barr's assertion that the election wasn't stolen from her father.
The former president said on Friday that Ivanka was 'not involved in looking' at the results of the 2020 election.
'Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as attorney general (he sucked),' Trump wrote on Truth Social, the network he helped establish after he was banned from Twitter.
It was a shocking turn of events. Trump and his daughter were known for their close relationship and she was seen as his favorite child. She served as an adviser in his White House and Trump often said she could be president one day.

Agreed, Trumps weakness was his mouth and picking people. His policies were sound but he continued to shoot himself in the foot.

He carefully and politely explained his disagreement with her, and what he said about Barr was just the way he always talks.
As for Ivanka, she said that she "accepted what [Barr] was saying," not that she'd made a detailed study and come to her own conclusion.
The first Presidents were grandfathered in (or a citizen at the time of this Constitution) as they knew there could be no natural born citizens for 35 years after the founding.
Hoover’s parents were both citizens when he was born.
Arthur went to extreme lengths to hide any evidence he was not a natural born citizen, he’s the only one before Obama that was questionable and it wasn’t proven until long after he was dead.

Trump is keeping himself in the news. He is out “blockbusting” the sham trial. He knows the corrupt media smells an opportunity to discredit him and will jump all over this...but he gets his name out there. I will venture to say that Ivanka will admit to not looking at the evidence carefully. Her admission will be announced just before the hubbub dies down.

They belong in the home where they thrive, doting on their children, husbands and home.

And from a practical point of view, how would/could the current interpretation be changed? Someone would have to start a lawsuit against the candidate, Barack Obama, for example, (an American mom and foreign dad, but born in the US) and in the period of time between his candidacy and election, the case would have to make it SCOTUS and SCOTUS would have to step in and invalidate his election. Can you imagine that happening?
