Donald Trump turned on his daughter Ivanka Trump after her testimony to the committee investigating the January 6th insurrection revealed she didn't think the 2020 presidential election was rigged.
In a 17-second clip of her interview to the committee that was played during Thursday's primetime hearing, Ivanka backs up Trump Attorney General Bill Barr's assertion that the election wasn't stolen from her father.
The former president said on Friday that Ivanka was 'not involved in looking' at the results of the 2020 election.
'Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as attorney general (he sucked),' Trump wrote on Truth Social, the network he helped establish after he was banned from Twitter.
It was a shocking turn of events. Trump and his daughter were known for their close relationship and she was seen as his favorite child. She served as an adviser in his White House and Trump often said she could be president one day.

Agreed.
She wants to return to the good graces of the left and to her life as a socialite.
Not shocking. Trump is always accurate
Ivanka and Jarhead were constantly undermining Trump’s policy positions and kept trying to move Trump’s agenda to the Left.
I think Trump realized this long ago, but the January 6th Commission testimony was the last straw for President Trump.
Don’t forget his other daughter.
She’s very pretty, she’s unquestionably a Natural Born Citizen of these United States, and she’s named Tiffany.
I think maybe we need “Hot & Crazy” in the White House.
Not very “under the bus” - I’m guessing she claimed no expertise on the election results but rather believed what she heard. Sounds more like he was giving her an out from any responsibility here.
And beauty has a short shelf life. (Unless we’re talking about Jennifer Connelly)
She and her husband were very bad for the Trump presidency, but this story looks like Daily Fail garbage.
#4. I agree.
Calling somebody mistaken is not always the same thing as throwing them under the bus is it? Article seems a little over-hyped.
This is Daily Mail crap. Trump did not throw Ivanka under the bus. He covered for her.
If all you read is the headline you will believe a lie.
Totally agree

How is the above a ‘furious turning on his daughter?
Oh, pardon me, of course, it’s the Daily Mail with progressive Rockstar reporter Emily Gooden doing the dirty daily shuffle.
She’s not an intellectual giant...
And Jennifer Beals from Flashdance…

I couldn’t understand why he appointed them after campaigning against the swamp in 2016.
If Trump runs in 2024, I hope he has learned his lesson regarding contrary appointees and nominations. Personally, I believe that with all Trump's baggage which the MSM will hammer 24/7, DeSantis would be a better nominee. Trump could be very influential in the background for a DeSantis presidency.
What a bass-akward headline.
Fortunately for President Trump, the bus was parked at the time.
