The City of Oakland, California, declared racism to be a “public health crisis” in a unanimous vote of the city council on Tuesday, allocating $350,000 to hire a consultant and data analyst in the Department of Race and Equity.
The ordinance was introduced by the city attorney, Barbara Parker, City Administrator Ed Reiskin,and Darlene Flynn, the director of the department of race and equity. It was also cosponsored by Council Members Sheng Thao, Loren Taylor and Treva Reid — all of whom are running for mayor.
“The link between racism and disparate health outcomes is well-established and indisputable, and the City of Oakland wishes to join the growing number of jurisdictions across the country that have formally declared racism a public health crisis,” Parker, Flynn and Reiskin wrote in a staff report.

I haven’t been to Oakland since the mid-90’s, and it was scary then.

The only thing that’s well established and indisputable is their willingness to string lie after lie together without even taking a breath.
My wife used to work for Alaska Airlines in Seattle so we flew for free. We used to head to Burbank on a very early flight, rent a convertible, tour the area for the day, and return that night. We decided one day to do the same thing with San Francisco, but landed in Oakland, and thought we’d take the bart to SF. The bus took us to the Bart station and after about 20 minutes of observing everything going on around us, we caught a bus back to the airport and flew back to Seattle. This was about 13 years ago.
The way I would describe the scene there is that it was like one of those post apocalypse movies.

So, lets spend $350K on an Equity consultant to look at all the data and confirm what we have already declared a crisis.
Who has a cousin with an advanced Sociology degree that needs $350K (with 10% for the big-guy, of course)?
Cultural Marxism is a public health and safety crisis. Racism was on the wane, until the left revived it within their own ranks.
That was my first thought. This consultant is either a relative of someone high up in the food chain or a significant campaign donor. It is all money laundering for these goons. Take our tax money, dump it into something stupid and wait for the kickback.
Isn’t Oakland pretty much all black?
If anything deserves a vaccine it’s racism....and I hope black people are able to get it as soon as possible.
Sadly, not one Oakland resident challenged the action.
They declared it a crisis, move on.
By enriching themselves they impoverish the residents.
Considering 65 percent is people of color. That’s a very interesting announcement. What could be the problem? Lol

Oakland must really be racist. The public’s health is in extreme danger if you walk anywhere in that city.
