The mayor of a North Carolina town announced Saturday that a Drag Queen Story Hour event, part of an upcoming pride festival, was canceled after receiving “feedback from citizens.”
Jacques Gilbert, mayor of Apex, North Carolina, announced Saturday via Facebook that the previously planned Drag Queen Story Hour was canceled one week before the Apex Pride Festival, citing citizen feedback. Gilbert shared the feedback he received to the Apex Festival Commission, who then took it into consideration and removed the program, his announcement stated.
Good for him.
We need more of this "feedback from citizens."
Those promoting this sexualization of children need to be labeled as pedophiles and have their names published in the sexual offender register. Dead serious.
The homos are really treading on thin ice these days.
If I were one I would be advising my compadres to back off the hard sell a bit.
None of this will stop until there are pedo corpses dangling from lamp posts.
Folks,
Learn to say no to things. Say it out loud, say it often. Repeat it.
The nation didn’t vote for BiteMe.
I don’t think that we should assume that most homosexuals are cool with this crap.
“Feedback”...LOL!
Drag yourselves the hell out of town
I would agree most do not. Which is why the more sensible majority should demand their activists brethren back the hell off this obvious campaign to co-opt peoples’ kids, immediately.
That is precisely why they are angered when we call them “Groomers”.
It is the truth.
You want to anger a Conservative? Tell them a lie. You want to anger a Leftist? Tell them the truth.
“Feedback from citizens”
LOL
Note to the LGBT community: Deep State is NOT your friend. NOT your ally.
If most of you have a problem with Deep State grooming kids, pull up your big boy and girl panties and speak up.
Because silence is consent.
And consenting to the grooming of the nation’s kids does you no favors.
I’m happy to report I’ve never found drag even slightly interesting or entertaining, and always disturbing. Matt Walsh has focused me on why this is. I agree with him: Drag is to women what blackface is to black people. It’s a demeaning lampooning of womanhood. Libs are cool with it, though, because they’re game for anything that upends societal norms
I agree. See my reply #13. :-)
The same goes for straight teachers who condone this crap. What is most disconcerting to me is the link between these activists and elements of the education establishment.
Keep your sleeze away from my kids or I’m going to identify you as a pinata.
I never thought of it that way before.
But you are right. The analogy to blackface fits as well.
This drag queens interacting with children garbage seemed to come out of nowhere recently, along with promotion of trans gender behavior to minors. I wonder who/what started and promulgated all this deviancy targeted at children. Since most minors are not found at “pride” parades or gay bars featuring drag queens, there seems to be an organized attempt to get at minors through schools and libraries.
The ultra-vocal, persistent small minority often wins. Look at the Bolsheviks, Mussolini, etc.
The “drag queen” thing got popularized in San Francisco at the “Finnochio’s” club starting back in 1933. I moved to SF in 1973 when it was still going strong and was a tourist favorite in North Beach. At the time, it was a cool spot for tourists and businessmen to go have some fun watching “female impersonators.” I never understood that attraction.
The club closed in 1999 because of dwindling audience attendance. Who needed to pay to go to a club to see the once-obscure, hidden, and rather exotic “female impersonators” and “drag queens” when it was now openly visible all over San Francisco?
Whoever would have dreamed that the slippery slope would, in only 90 years, bring us to these perverts openly sexualizing the littlest of our children at our PUBLIC LIBRARIES. It is utter insanity.
How this evil “drag queen story hour” even got started is beyond me. What’s even more bewildering is the thought that any parent would take their kids to these events and that citizens didn’t speak out sooner. It just shows how cowed everybody is about being accused of being “intolerant” or “phobic.”
