The untold story about "green energy" is that it can't possibly be scaled up to provide anywhere near the energy to replace fossil fuels (unless we are headed back to the stone ages, which is what some of the "de-growth" advocates favor).
Right now, the United States gets about 70% of its energy from fossil fuels. To go to zero over the next 20 years would be economically catastrophic and cost tens of millions of jobs. With gas prices at nearly double their price back from when Donald Trump left office and inflation up from 1.5% to 8% in just 15 months, we are already experiencing the economic damage from the green energy crusaders.
But we also have to ask whether green energy is even good for the environment. Some environmentalists are pointing to a little-noticed study by the World Bank showing that moving toward 100% solar, wind and electric battery energy would be just as destructive to the planet as fossil fuels. This was precisely the conclusion of a story in Foreign Policy magazine, hardly a right-wing publication.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

It'd be either during the Medieval Warm Period (AD 900 to 1300) or Roman Warm Period (time of Christ), both of which were warmer than we are now, with the Medieval Warm Period not getting as warm as the Roman Warm Period, just like the Roman Warm Period didn't get as warm as the prior Minoan Warm Period (time of Moses). But the crop yields during those times were amazingly good, just like they are now during our Modern Warm Period (since AD 1800's) but without modern farming techniques.
History shows that our current temps aren't closed to being as warm as our climate optimum. And if the trend continues, our Modern Warm Period won't reach that point before temps turn down again for another centuries long cooling period before the next warm period begins. A few centuries from now when the cooling period makes crop yields go down, rain patterns harder to predict, and deaths by plague go way up (as they always do during cooling periods), people will look back at our time and laugh at our hysteria over global warming when we should be happy to be in a relatively nice climate.
How bout all the greenies hook up generators to their Pelatons and save the planet.
Just like plastic grocery store bags were intended to save trees. But ended up destroying the eco system in the ocean...Oh well, they had good intentions and a good heart...

I think we should at least test out their theory, and I believe Biden should issue an Executive Order Mandating that ALL Federal Employee’s and Officers of the Court Nationwide, immediately Stop using ALL FOSSIL FUELS for every aspect of their lives and become 100% dependent on Renewable Green Energy that is 100% CARBON FREE

Bingo. It is a HUGE industry. There are tens of thousands of “global warming” researchers at governments, universities, think tanks and companies all over the world getting the “right” answers their masters want. There are thousands of companies researching and creating “green energy” equipment to solve the non-problem.
What better way to create a new industry where you can get rich than by destroying the old industry?
In the end it is all a monstrous waste of resources because China and India will go on burning their coal and everything we are doing to destroy ourselves will only make them richer and more competitive with low-cost energy. AND it opens us up to foreign invasion and take-over.
This whole thing is sheer lunacy by children with zero critical thinking skills.

Green energy is simply a transition to no energy. Everybody will get a 2 kWh daily allowance. Could be fuel, electric, whatever - but consume no more than 2 kWh per day, or off to the tent camps.
But Greta said we are using up our carbon budget, and how dare we???

It is a given that any nation in order to grow, prosper and survive has to have a plentiful supply of reasonably priced energy, there are no exceptions. Eventually and in time we probably will have nuclear fusion power plants, until then it will be a good idea to make the best with what we have in form of carbon-based energy such as coal, gas as well as oil. Of course, solar and wind power is a nice addition, but never has or ever will compensate for what is actually needed and required.
I mean...c'mon...look to the heavens...living, breathing, twinkling, shining.
Then look at our satellites. Nuts and bolts.
We're just a tiny fragment of the Universe...and we think we can control the Universe?? Not logical at all.

You do understand there is NO correct temperature? There are only better or worse growing seasons in ever changing areas of the Earth.
The Sahara and all of North Africa was once fertile and supported millions of people in the Mediterranean region with the crops and animals raised there.
You cannot go back, you can only go forward. No matter what any one does the Earth’s climate will continue to change all on its own. Then, there are comet strikes like 10,800 BC which altered the climate worldwide overnight, killing off most the mega fauna and ushering in the Younger Dryas event.
You cannot halt of alter this progression; you can only adapt and survive.
