Establishment candidate for U.S. Senate Jim Lamon is melting down after former President Donald Trump endorsed his opponent Blake Masters against him in the Arizona GOP primary last week.
First, in a statement berating the former president for the endorsement and claiming he would win anyway, Lamon said he is “especially disappointed” in Trump for endorsing the rising GOP star over him.

The last thing we need in the republican party is another GOPe squish RINO we can’t trust like Linda Graham, John McCain, McConnell, and all the others.
We need actual patriotic Americans that will stand tall against the Marxist left and their heinous woke culture.
I will never again vote for anyone with a hint of GOPe stink on them.
Lamon is not “establishment” or a soi boy as some have said here.
He’s actually an attractive candidate - ex-military, self made medium size business, fairly direct and very right wing in his views.
He’s not Bush-lite.
His problem is he’s utterly unknown as a politician.
Masters has the same problem, but has more name recognition and definitely a hell of a lot more money behind him.
Trump made the right call. But the Establishment candidate was Brnovich, who is now almost irrelevant.
