Just a note about Jim Rob and his beloved wife now passed. I meet them both a few times. Though frail of body they both were tempered steel of conviction, honor and patriotism. The word compromise did not exist in their vocabulary. She was and he is a humble person of honor.

Though Jim Rob is in a wheel chair he is a hell of a man! Jim Rob, you are in my prayers of thanks to you and wishing all well for you.

Yes, in addition to being extremely serious healthwise, they can be excrutiatingly painful. If not tended to properly, the sore can go all the way to the bone and cause inflammation and infection into the bones and then throughout the body (if I understand properly), medical people can correct if that last is wrong.
