Artillery is what they do.

And they do it well.

Better than most.

Quantity over Quality.

“Giving land to the Orc is culturally, not politically, unacceptable. No happening.”

Giving it to Russia is far different than Russia taking it.

So far it appears Russia is content with taking it.

“taking Kherson area north of the Dnieper,”

Take may be, but it will be a big tactical mistake.

Unless they go all the way to Trans..what the hell ever it is called, there will be a problem with holding any land across that river.

Natural barriers and all that.

Of course if anyone can figure out what the hell goes on in the heads of these barbarians over there. that person will be held in great admiration.

“all bets off if he decides to eat Odessa for lunch”

Russia would be negligent to come this far and not take back the city that Catherine the Great built during the American Revolution.

They will take the entire Black Sea Coast and rebuff inquiries about negotiations until then. No other course could possibly be in their best interest.

This war was obvious.

Every aspect of it.

It was like a chess game where you know who will make what moves before even the first pawn is moved.

Russia will only take the ethnic Russian areas because after they deal with the “insurgents” we trained and armed, the fight is over, i.e. the local population generally supports the Russian side. If Russia goes into the Ukraine nationalist areas, that would spell trouble (long term resistance and the need for expenditure of resources).

But here is what is perplexing: Ukraine will come out of this with a screwed up economy, thousands dead, millions displaced, fear by future investors, it’s armed forces depleted, infrastructure damaged, a major industrial area and port city missing, and all of this because allegedly it was that important for them to join NATO, “which they will not.” So what did Ukraine get out of this? When they pulled the slot machines handle, they were hoping to see NATO appear in that window. But did they ever consider that there was about a 95% chance of getting something else?

RISK = probability x magnitude.

When Ukraine went down that road the probability of war was high, the magnitude of the damage horrific.

Which brings up the next business concept: ROI.

The ROI for Ukraine was real, NATO membership is a big deal. But in the grand scheme of things, Ukraine already had a special deal worked out with the EU. NATO was already playing with them low key. They were already being armed by us and others... It wasn’t like this was all or nothing or that Ukraine had nothing to lose. They had a good thing going for themselves... How did any of this make sense in terms of Return On Investment?

This was a war which a prudent leader would not have sailed towards. Some storms are unavoidable. But this shit storm is nothing but self inflicted damage. Stupid.

Listen pipsqueak, your repeated efforts to slander everyone who doesn’t agree with you is getting old. You apparently don’t have the cognitive ability to intelligently discuss anything and resort to ad hominen attacks when facts fail you.

And apparently you still don’t have evidence for your claim as I see once again you have not provided it. Here is just one little piece of evidence that refutes your claim.

Russia has practically ceased to suffer losses during the special operation in Ukraine, this is the result of a change in the approach to the conduct of hostilities - Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Kartapolov.

“We have practically stopped losing people. The extreme figures released by the Ministry of Defense in March are 1,351 dead. At present, of course, there are wounded, but there are no such number of dead. And this is the result of a change in approach to the tactics of warfare,” he said.

According to Andrey Kartapolov, at the initial stage, when the Russian Armed Forces entered the territory under the control of Ukraine, no weapons were used. However, after the Russian military began to be shot and captured, the tactics were changed.

“Now this tactic is bringing tangible results,” concluded the parliamentarian.

And as for your pathetic instruction for me to “Just go away” you’re waisting your time trying to intimidate me. Pick on someone your own size: Your about 60 IQ points short for taking me on.

“The Orcs are now under the UA artillery on the heights of Lysichansk.”

Yep.

But Ukraine has no way to supply ammo to those...less than 100...tubes. And those tubes are nearly immobile in the heights. Most are towed.

Those men are dead meat. They just don’t know it yet.

Out of necessity Kiev has abandoned them with orders to not surrender.

“It takes a modern US General to forgo heavy use of artillery in favor of infantry patrols.”

It’s like, DUDE!

You have the tubes and ammo, why not use those?

Yeah, in looks bad in western media.

And it’s apparent Russia no longer cares. They’ll do what they do very, very well.

Tonnage.

🇺🇦Severodonetsk and Ukrainian deputies-commanders

After an attempted counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk , a scandal erupted: journalist Yuriy Butusov wrote that people’s deputy Maryana Bezuglaya is leading the military . He called her “commissar” and complained about politicians who interfere in military matters.

Also, TV presenter Yanina Sokolova published a photo of Bezugly in military uniform in Severodonetsk. According to her, she represents Zelensky and controls the actions of the military.

Bezuglaya really arrived in Severodonetsk along with a group of foreign mercenaries to strengthen the extremely difficult situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zelensky’s Office sees Severodonetsk as a symbol of resistance. The commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, several times offered to withdraw troops from there in order to prevent encirclement, but was refused.

It may seem ridiculous that a certain 34-year-old deputy of the Rada gives orders to the military. But she is not so simple.

▪️Bezugloy has a military medical education : she did an internship at the US State Department , as a result of which she received a specialization in organization and management of health care.

▪️Prior to joining the Rada, she was a senior inspector for monitoring the execution of instructions from the civilian experts department of the Center for Performance Support of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .

Civilian experts are representatives of the structures of the George Soros Foundation and the State Department, which carried out supervision and reforms in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And Bezuglaya herself controlled the implementation of the directives of American structures in the Ukrainian army.

▪️In 2019, she became a member of the Rada and deputy head of the National Security and Defense Committee. Bezuglaya initiated the creation of territorial defense and promoted the corresponding bill. But after the start of the military operation, territorial defense was already operating “by default”.

▪️In 2021, she headed a temporary commission that investigated the reasons for the failure of the operation to deliver the “ Wagnerites “ detained in Belarus.

▪️In 2022, she submitted a bill to the Rada on the possibility of shooting soldiers who refuse to follow the orders of the commander. But after an excessively loud and negative resonance, the bill was withdrawn.

Thus, Maryana Bezuglaya is one of the key functionaries of the American representation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine . Therefore, the fact that Ukrainian commanders listen to her is not surprising.

But there is also a political context to the scandal.

At the end of May, Bezuglaya wrote on her Facebook that the SBU should initiate a case against Butusov because of the information he disseminates.

Butusov and TV presenter Sokolova, who published a photo of Bezuglya, are close to former President Petro Poroshenko. Therefore, the scandal that broke out is also part of the confrontation between the current and former presidents. But given Medvedchuk’s testimony, Poroshenko himself remains silent while his people campaign.

Interesting, you are historically correct. However, Vlad spelled out his goals specifically seeking to guarantee the ethnic Russian Donbass provinces who voted for Independence from the Ukies.
Could he also take Odessa? It is historically Russian, but not one of his stated goals. Satellite images show exactly Vlads intentions, land he desires to keep is being fortified, triple trench systems dug, concrete, all very very quickly.
On that note, much being written in NON western news media discussing the ousting of the little corrupted beggar Zelensky. I imagine when he takes Donbass, if he does trap and capture the Pentagon estimate of 15,000 Ukies, more cries for the beggar’s ouster will rise. Carving up of Ukraine? I would not be surprised as anything vegetable head Joe supports always turns rotten.

Shaking my head.

Anyway. Like I have been saying..the other day, even posting a briefing by a Austrian military instructor, that the immaturity of The Ukraine military leaders is showing..maybe they are not issuing the orders now? Sure does not look like it and it looks more and more like the radicals are calling the shots through the fuhrer.

Send troops into a pocket that is under danger of collapse. Sounds like something the infamous last fuhrer would have done.

IF..they are trying to fight a war of attrition, which they should be doing, they are EVEN, failing at that.

Oh they will make a move in their favor here and there once in a while, but soon or later, they will be trapped and then huge surrenders will result.

On the Russian side, they need to quit playing nice. Mass shelling and bombing needs to commence and mop up operations after. The Ukraine puts their troops in position-on top of a hill, then bomb the place till it is nothing but a hole.

❗️🇬🇧🇺🇦The battle for Severodonetsk: the situation by the end of June 4, 2022

▪️While individual units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Troops leave Severodonetsk , retreating in small groups to the high bank of the Seversky Donets in Lisichansk , reinforcements from foreign mercenaries and nationalists are being transferred to the city.

▪️The counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Metelkino from the industrial zone, the purpose of which was to prevent the creation of a boiler for the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine holding Borovskoye , was personally organized and led by the deputy from the Servant of the People party Maryana Bezuglaya , one of the main pro-American functionaries in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Maryana arrived in the city with a unit of foreign mercenaries: by joint efforts, they managed to keep the defense of Severodonetsk from disintegrating and prevent the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Borovskoye.

During the counterattack, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered significant losses, but apparently, the Ukrainian subunits managed to oust the RF Armed Forces from the western outskirts of Sirotino and from the village of Lesnaya Dacha, after which the counteroffensive bogged down.

The reports of the Ukrainian side about the occupation of Metelkino do not correspond to reality.

▪️In the city itself, territorial control did not change. The Armed Forces of Ukraine retain residential development in the administration area , south of Gvardeisky Prospekt , and the territory of the Azot plant. The rest of the city is controlled by allied forces.
