Republicans continue to lead Democrats and gain momentum on the generic congressional ballot in the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, after a slight dip last week following a recent school shooting in Texas and the gun rights battle.

As the Republicans look to retake control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections only 158 days away, the most recent Rasmussen Reports survey showed the GOP expanded the lead by two points after a slight three-point dip from last week.

That enthusiasm will dissipate rapidly when they vote for gun control.

Lindsey Grahamnesty is leading the RINO charge for grabbing the guns of law-abiding citizens.

And, Hannity continues to give this dweeb a forum.

Abortion wasn’t working well enough. The 2A will do the trick. Republicans, like the Washington Generals, have a roll to play. There’s gonna be a lot of campaign cash for both sides if they play their cards right. Kabuki theater. Very little chance of winning the House AND getting the necessary 60 Senate seats for either side.

AND getting the necessary 60 Senate seats for either side.

Don't need 60 Senate seats to stop things. Only to override a filibuster.

Every time people fill up their cars it is a free campaign advertisement for the GOP - and not something that can be forgotten.

With gas at $5.00 the unfortunate thing is that if it falls to $3.50, that will seem “low” - even though that was an outrageous price and a dramatic increase as well.

After Flimsey assists the Democrats with gun control, he wants to give our country away with amnesty.
He just needs us to re-elect Amnesty Senators Rubio and Hoeven first.

All Republicans have to do is win 52 to 53 seats this election and the senate election of 2024 is so aligned favorably for the Republicans that there is a good chance they could get 60 or more seats.

Of course even if they won 60 or Hell even 70 seats, they would still reach across the isle and let Chuck Schumer run the show.

It’s a shame that Mitch McConnell will be the leader if the GOP takes back the Senate.

Is t here a chance a Dem would cross over and vote for Republicans’ bills? Prolly not. If you want any decent legislation, you’ll need 60 votes to override a filibuster and override Biden’s veto.

To what end?

They could, in every way, be running the table had they played ball with Pres Trump. And I’m not saying they had to roll over and play dead for the man.

They’ll cave, at least a little bit on gun control and that will be it for their lead.

You need 67 votes in the Senate to override a veto, and 2/3 of the house votes as well.

Nearly impossible.

Still? I thought Harry Reid changed that too. Well, thanks for the correction.

Yup, Hannity continues to be Flimsey Graham’s enabler.
At this point the two should just get a room.

Well, Mitt Romney could be available... < / s >

An improved caucus should be the main focus...not the “leader” - compared to Trent Lott and Bill Frist - McConnell has been an improvement.

67 votes is in the Constitution (or rather 2/3 to be specific - the 67 number can change if the number of Senators were to change) - can’t do any “rule changes” to override that constitutional provision.

Free advertisement to get out and vote Republican only to have communist thugs rig the elections by ballot stuffing, fixed voting machines and cheating without care for laws because there are none? They stole the presidency from Trump for the whole world to see with nary a consequence. Are we to think that the anti American establishment will stop their evil tactics for the midterms or the next presidential election? FBI crooked. DOJ crooked. CIA crooked. It’s insanity to believe that elections will change anything for the better. Dig in and prepare for the worst.

More than five months to go before the election.

Still plenty of time for the MSM to work their magic on political perceptions.

I doubt if more than 10% of voters are actually undecided.

All registered Democrats will vote Democrat in 2022, no matter how bad the economy is or how many Constitutional rights are being destroyed.

If the election were held today, the GOP would win a small majority in the House and Senate, but we still cannot get there without electing a substantial number of RINOs.

So far the Polls don’t reflect GOP voter turnout. In the Midwest - Ohio - Indiana & Kentucky Primary turnout is less than 20% of registered GOP voters.

The Wisconsin GOP will be lucky if they have 12% turnout for their Primary. This doesn’t look good for November.
