My understanding is that the areas now under russkie control represents about 90% of Uke industry/farmlands/energy resources. Having secured that, what is the return on investment to get the remaining 10%? Cost is too high/return too low, thus it is logical to secure current position and NOT seek country-wide occupation. To what end? Lording over a hostile, armed population? OK, but for what return?
