Harvard Won’t Say if It Supports Diversity of Thought
Real Clear Politics ^ | June 2, 2022 | Albert Eisenberg

Just as the Black Lives Matter movement was gaining national prominence, a witch hunt-style cancellation of Harvard’s most prominent and promising black professor was taking place. Harvard’s suppression of Professor Roland Fryer, newly exposed in a 2022 film by documentarian Rob Montz and a score of articles from prominent thinkers such as Glenn Loury and Stuart Taylor, is an egregious example of hypocrisy at work.

Fryer built a storied career using quantitative social science and common sense to investigate societal shibboleths such as the social effect of “acting white” among black students (it’s real) and the impact of racial bias in police shootings (you might be surprised – as Fryer himself was). His work on America’s most hot-button issues earned him headlines, and accolades: a MacArthur Genius Fellowship, honoree status from Time magazine, and the Clark Medal, making him the first African American to win it.

By the late 2010s, Fryer was an academic star, a generational voice at Harvard who pushed the boundaries of academic research to the benefit of the least advantaged Americans, and one who represented the true manifestation of the American dream. It was a long way from the housing projects of Daytona Beach, Florida. But his research upset the political apple cart – and Harvard would soon find occasion to muzzle him.

University administrators, including Dean of Harvard’s Faculty Arts and Sciences Claudine Gay and Dean of Social Sciences Larry Bobo, were less than enchanted with Fryer’s findings and regularly attacked his work. Gay and Bobo were among his foremost critics when Fryer’s lab found no evidence of racial bias in police shootings, concluding that, statistically, police officers were less likely to shoot black suspects than white ones.

It’s the so-called academia. “Free speech” means shouting down anyone who opposes Bolshevism.

The left wants to “speak truth to power” when they are out of power.

They want everybody to sit down and shut up when they are in power.

Freedom and diversity of thought and opinion is dangerous to those who seek control. Ie: Liberals pushing their agenda.

Pride is at the root of all sin. It was Lucifer's sin. Any sin begins with the presumption that the person committing it knows better than what God wills.

Cancel culture too, is rooted in pride - that conflicting or dissenting voices have no value because the left presumes itself infallible.

They cover both types of allowed thought: Marxist and Leninist.

Won’t say? Its not even a question. They obviously do not support diversity of thought. Neither does hardly anybody in Academia since they are overwhelmingly Leftists.

The Left does not support diversity of thought. Diversity is only for matters of appearance ... just so long as you don’t appear to be a Christian, have normal sexuality, are white or are a man.

“Harvard Won’t Say if It Supports Diversity of Thought”

I’ll take that as a no.

Liberals really do believe in free speech - except when that speech is hate speech. And just what is hate speech? Well, it’s any speech that liberals disagree with.

Old-time liberals would have been shocked by this. But all the old-time liberals are either dead or bullied into silence.

Why would anyone even ask that question? Of course they don’t, and all their actions confirm that.

Diversity of skin color and sex take full and complete priority over diversity of thought.

It isn’t even a question. As a matter of fact, Harvard would likely be confused if you even asked them directly.

“Crackers dasn’t act black.”

Oh certainly they do in some areas. I.E. a whiteboy sporting a lot of gold chains and pants hanging down. The crude term for it is to replace the N with and W in the ‘n-word’.

Harvard is the university that our political elites deem as the approved source of official elites and policy makers and SCOTUS judges etc.. So if Harvard is now discriminatory against your demographics and beliefs the country is against you. Have white Christians from middle America now become an under class?
