Sure. Criminal contempt charge is literally a criminal charge. DOJ has decided it can prove the case.

Then there is the "process is the punishment" angle. Legal fees come out of defendant's resources, not the government's. Whatever mental an emotional abuse they can muster against him, they will.

He's a tough bird. I figure he'll take it in stride. Government is illegitimate and abusing its power, but this is normal US government. It is vindictive and a threat to peaceful order.

Not a legal subpoena because of how the committee was constituted under the rules. But it’s DC that voted over 90% for Hillary and Biden, so the law is meaningless.
