If the GOP would do this now and then maybe the Democrats wouldn’t be so aggressive knowing that they could be targets of investigations and/or indictments.
But alas, the GOP is too meek to ever hold them accountable. The Dems know this and are therefore emboldened to weaponize federal resources against them.

McCarthy has already said this committee is invalid and illegal, so no contempt can exist.
He should assert his 4th amendment rights. Congress is conducting a partisan witch hunt by claiming it is legit “oversight”, but they cannot steal 4th amendment rights to gain private information without PROBABLE CAUSE and search warrant. Congress cannot subpoena away 4th amendment rights with another one of Pelosi’s illegit kangaroo committees, abusing hers and their power in a criminal fashion, again and again. They already impeached Trump over Jan. 6th BEFORE investigating. They should be charged with a crime for both impeachments. Their signed articles are full of lies. There is a reason why the chief justice of the Supreme Court presides over impeachments, so partisan lies and lawlessness don’t creep into the proceedings. and there is reason why we have a “special counsel” law, to keep partisanship out of politically sensitive prosecutions.

Navarro sued Pelosi and the January 6 Committee two days ago, June 1. Suit also seeks an injunction against the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.
