Bingo! This is nothing but retribution against political opponents.
If the GOP would do this now and then maybe the Democrats wouldn’t be so aggressive knowing that they could be targets of investigations and/or indictments.
But alas, the GOP is too meek to ever hold them accountable. The Dems know this and are therefore emboldened to weaponize federal resources against them.
When you accept abuse expect more of it.
I’m not sure its meekness. At the very least complicity, more like co-conspirators. Most Republicans in DC hate MAGA and are happy to see them destroyed.
