Congressman Mondaire Jones (D-NY) warned law-abiding gun owners that Democrats will do everything in their power to ensure AR-15s and similar types of firearms are confiscated during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.
The hearing was to consider H.R. 7910, the "Protecting Our Kids Act," which would raise the legal age to purchase "certain semiautomatic centerfire rifles or semiautomatic centerfire shotguns" from 18 to 21 with "exceptions." The bill will also "modernize the prohibition on untraceable firearms [and] encourage the safe storage of firearms."
Jones said Congress will pass gun control legislation and nothing, not the fillibuster in the Senate or the Supreme Court, will stop them.
"Enough is enough. Enough of you telling us that school shootings are effective life when every other country like ours has virtually ended. Enough of you blaming mental illness then defunding mental health care in this country. Enough of your thoughts and prayers. Enough. Enough. You will not stop us from advancing the 'Protecting Our Kids' Act today," Jones said. "You will not stop us from passing it in the House next week and you will not stop us. If the filibuster obstructs us, we will abolish it. If the Supreme Court objects, we will expand it. We will not rest until we have taken weapons of war out of circulation in our communities."

19 Million US Service Veterans and 90 million US gun owners.
Maybe this will be the “last straw” in regards to finally correcting the Federal over-reach from the last 40-50 years...
Guess worms have to eat too..might be to tough for them though..
Thank you Congress”man” Jones. I had been concerned that I was going to die unremarkably while calling out to the nurse to bring a bed pan.
Complete B.S.
Let the teachers and staff in school protect the children. They can be effective if they are allowed to be.
No need to worry about the 1 million American lives that we lost. The Biden administration is bringing in replacements. /s
Just try doing that, you brain dead black ass.
In the words of the old lady in “Blazing Saddles,”
“Up Yours, Ni——
Congressman Mondaire Jones believes that he is safe behind his walls he says we can’t have, protected by the guns he wants to confiscate. Nothing could be further from the truth.
μολὼν λαβέ.................
Really? I hear he goes both ways…men AND boys! 😂
At first I thought this was a pro-life/anti-abortion bill Congress means to prevent the Progressive genocide through abortion in America and especially in the black community. After all, over one million children are murdered by abortionists every year in this country.
Silly me.
Coincidentally, these are the same abortion murder enablers claiming they are really trying to "Protect Our Kids".
If they manage to disarm us, they will move on to "adult abortions" of their political enemies.
If they are dead to rights guilty. Execute them with in 4-6 months. PERIOD!!!
Your move.
Well, the Democrats did warn us that democracy was in peril.
I do not care about their party. I want THEM relegated to the dustbin of history.
THAT is what they are pushing for, and that is what they will, once they cross the threshold, will receive.
No, I make no threat. However, they DO. When they threaten our lives, families, and safety? They should be aware of the stakes. Most roads go two directions.
Molina Libido!
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
As you read this post, please bear in mind that, as a consequence of growing up with an unconstitutionally big federal government, we've been indoctrinated to unthinkingly ask "how high" every time the big bad feds shout "JUMP!"
Next, regardless of Rep. Mondaire Jones' election year gun control agenda, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification federal government the specific power to regulate peacetime control of non-militia-related firearms, not even for murder.
In fact, let's consider expert clarification of federal government constitutionally limited powers from congressional record and Supreme Court case opinion with an emphasis on penal law.
"Our Constitution never conferred upon the Congress of the United States the power - sacred as life is, first as it is before all other rights which pertain to man on this side of the grave - to protect it in time of peace by the terrors of the penal code within organized states; and Congress has never attempted to do it. There never was a law upon the United States statute-book to punish the murderer for taking away in time of peace the life of the noblest, and the most unoffending, as well, of your citizens, within the limits of any State of the Union [emphases added]. The protection of the citizen in that respect was left to the respective States, and there the power is to-day.” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe. (See bottom half of third column.)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
So since the feds actually don't have the specific power to make the restrictive gun laws that Jones wants to make, he needs to first do the following. He needs to introduce a resolution to propose a gun control amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. If ratified, the new amendment will certainly open the door to corrupt Congress regulating peacetime use of non-militia-related guns, thus weakening the 2nd Amendment imo.
Next, please consider the following about the Bill of Rights in the context of the 2nd Amendment (2A).
Note that some of the early defenders of the Constitution had argued that a possible problem with making the Bill of Rights (BoR) is this. Their concern was, since the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to deal with some of the rights expressly protected by the BoR, that the BoR would ultimately eclipse the idea that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to make peacetime restrictive gun laws for example, even if there was no 2A.
“The defenders of the Constitution argued that a bill of rights would undermine the idea of a government with limited powers." — Ed Feulner, We Almost Didn't Have the Bill of Rights, CNSNews, 12-14-16."
So evidenced by misguided Rep. Mondaire Jones' election year gun control agenda, I think the fears of early Americans concerning the BoR were fully justified.
In fact, consider that the main reason (imo) that there are now non-militia-related restrictive gun laws in the federal books is because Constitution-ignoring FDR was the first president to establish such laws imo.

Corrections, insights welcome.
Finally, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
Ballot Box is no longer useful. Soap Box, will never have enough scrubbing bubbles. Cartridge Box(es) in stock and ready...
Forget Putin, this is your enemy.
With these deranged people in office they'll continue to destroy our country daily....they want a fantasy land of their own imagination.
