Local Boston talkshow host has been reporting all morning that perp is black, IIRC he said the NYT reported it but since has taken description "35 y/o black man" out of their reporting. And he said the same thing about it fading if indeed it was a black man.

If you think about it hospitals and doctor's offices are often associated with tragic events.

That requires training, you see. 19 year olds (or 18 in the case of Uvalde) simply don’t get that kind of training.
They know not to buy a pistol. They know to buy two ‘primaries’ so that if one jams they can sling the other one over and keep firing. They don’t need a pistol to fight their way back to their rifle, because they know they’ll be dead.

I consider back surgery a scam with something like a 35% questionable “success” rate. It was about an $85,000 procedure a few years ago.

Yup its amazing that it doesn’t happen more often actually, some folks are very unreasonable and blame others for things they shouldn’t. (There are legit complaints thouhg, a friend had a bipsy done, and was never to,d the results because it never got sent out. Tu4ns out that a later biopsy showed cancer, but it was too late, and he died not lo g after the second biopsy- that would of course be a legit complaint, but others expect too much from docs and blame them when they can’t cure them. I’ve heard folks blame docs for not discovering somehting when the truth of the matter was they never went for tests but they expected the docs to diagnose based on Vague descriptions of symptoms. Thise folks become pretty negative towards docs. (High medical bills only further aggravate the issue)
