An employee at Robb Elementary School had propped open a door to carry food from a car to the classroom last Tuesday, but closed it shut after realizing that a gunman was loose and heading toward the school, her San Antonio lawyer said......
McCraw told reporters on Friday that the employee propped open the door about the time the gunman crashed the truck, and that the employee called 911. But Flanary said he wants to make clear that the door was not left propped open.
“She saw the wreck,” Flanary said. “She ran back inside to get her phone to report the accident. She came back out while on the phone with 911. The men at the funeral home yelled, ‘He has a gun!’ She saw him jump the fence, and he had a gun so she ran back inside........

Maybe the lock was bad?
.
Numerous stories aren’t a good sign.
Of course, people are also trying to avoid charges.
There are motives to lie.
.
Fast and furious, the lies are coming.
I think there is video.
It's the rock's fault. Or the door's fault. Certainly not the teacher's fault.
And there's video to prove it! Or maybe not.
Time for a months-long investigation that will resolve -- something.
they better pray there’s no video otherwise...
It’s a red herring. A door was left open? OMG! Doesn’t excuse armed LEOs standing around outside while the killer killed.
Lie. Either she left the door open, or she thought she closed it, but it didn’t latch. Probably a “crash out bar” mechanism for emergency exit.
Different day, different story.
Why did he crash the truck?
The murderer may have had a key, since the grandmother he shot at the start of his spree was a teachers aide at the school.
There’s a video of him running in and at the beginning of it are two cops standing there watching.
I thought perhaps the teacher that propped the door might have been the first victim, but apparently she is alive and has a lawyer.
The motivation to lie in this situation is very clear, not only to avoid moral culpability, but legal liability.
The real question is, how good is the security cam clarity and does it back up her claim, negate it entirely or is it of such poor quality that no one can be sure?
And now there is the fact that the Grandmother was a teacher’s aide at the school. So do the doors have keycards and did Grandma have one? Did her grandson shoot her not just to take her truck, but also her keycard to get into the school?
“Maybe the lock was bad?”
Who knows? Whether the door was open or not is relevant to the investigation as an open door would have made it easier for him to get in.
However a closed door was likely expected by the killer as he planned this slaughter. He had the firepower to get in so the outcome would not have changed.
Greater mistake IMO was the inept police response.
One report said he didn’t know how to drive. Also kind of weird. He sure tore up that truck.
BINGO!
I believe you are correct that they were probably cops. I used photo editing software to enhance the image.
There was an object between the two individuals and upon enhancement it appears to be a rifle with a magazine and a sling becomes visible (you can’t see the sling just watching the video).
I could be wrong.
The video shows the murderer walking through an open door.
The time line that has been released shows that the outside door was propped open before the murderer crashed the pickup.
Who hired this attorney?
>There was an object between the two individuals and upon enhancement it appears to be a rifle with a magazine and a sling becomes visible (you can’t see the sling just watching the video).
It might be the other rifle he had when he chased after those at the funeral. In any case, he comes back and jumps right in the door.
I bet you the police propped it open while they were looking around as they didn’t have keycards.
We already know this lawyer is a liar.
