Lie. Either she left the door open, or she thought she closed it, but it didn’t latch. Probably a “crash out bar” mechanism for emergency exit.
I thought perhaps the teacher that propped the door might have been the first victim, but apparently she is alive and has a lawyer.
The motivation to lie in this situation is very clear, not only to avoid moral culpability, but legal liability.
The real question is, how good is the security cam clarity and does it back up her claim, negate it entirely or is it of such poor quality that no one can be sure?
And now there is the fact that the Grandmother was a teacher’s aide at the school. So do the doors have keycards and did Grandma have one? Did her grandson shoot her not just to take her truck, but also her keycard to get into the school?
Exactly, it will automatically lock if the door is PULLED close. She probably didn't fully close the door. So saying she closed it is not exactly a truthful statement. Saying she released the object that she propped it open with might be more accurate and she allowed the door to swing closed, but only partially closed. It likely hung up and actually technically remained open in an unlocked position. Parsing so as to avoid civil lawsuits.
“Lie. Either she left the door open, or she thought she closed it, but it didn’t latch. Probably a “crash out bar” mechanism for emergency exit.“
You are giving rational, realistic scenarios of what probably happened .
People who will only accept conspiracy theories wont like that.
