MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Tuesday touted the bipartisan group of senators, led by Sens. Chris Murphy (D-CT) and John Cornyn (R-TX), working to achieve gun control legislation in the wake of the Uvalde, TX shooting.
Scarborough cited polling showing 85% of Americans support universal background checks and red flag laws and said that “maybe, just maybe” now was an “opportunity” to pass such legislation.

Red fag laws would have to protect the rights of the accused so that they are not unjustly disarmed and severe penalties for accusing an innocent person.
The feds can't even investigate denied NICS checks. They claim that 300,000 felons were denied firearms purchases last year, but there were only 12 prosecutions for felons attempting to purchase firearms through NICS.
Every gun I’ve purchased in the past several years has resulted in a background check. I’ve had to wait up to three days to pick up the firearm as I have a common name.

Never happen. They will be written to ensnare as many people has possible. Ever arrested for anything whether found guilty or not? Red Flag. The conversation needs to be about the propped open doors, the missing Resource Officer, and the one hour stand down by the LEOs, but with baby funerals happening all week everywhere one looks in media I don’t see how Truth can gain the narrative.
