A University of Pennsylvania professor drew ridicule online for suggesting that first responders waited too long to engage the shooter in Uvalde, Texas last week because “police didn’t give a damn” about “brown kids.”
In a since-deleted tweet from Friday, UPenn Religious Studies and Africana Studies Professor Anthea Butler — who is also an MSNBC contributor — suggested that racism was responsible for the police failure to stop a gunman at a Texas elementary school in an attack that left 19 children and two adults dead.

A teacher left what was supposed to be a locked door open.
The police stood down after rescuing their own kids.
Then they detained parents of the other kids.
It was a democrat operation to create a narrative favorable to repealing the 2nd Amendment.

Sure. Let’s try to charge our frustrations on our Race Card and assume that all of the police, in an area that is predominantly Hispanic, are ALL CAUCASIAN. I’m pretty sure only a few were Caucasian, and the guy calling the shots was Hispanic.
All in all, the police were woefully inept, just like Parkland. It’s a literal repeat!

That is what two of my nephews did: one is a welder and the other works on the river.
Both of them make good money and neither one of them has to put up with bigotry and nonsense from the left (don’t think there are that many leftists working on a pipeline where it was -50 in the winter or on the barges on the Mississippi river in New Orleans.)
Penn is outdoing itself in craptasticality lately, ever since Biden was awarded an academic "chair" in the run-up to Hillary's ultimately failed presidential campaign.
