If you’re anything like me, you probably never thought you’d see the day when human beings would claim, with a straight face, that they are actually a different ‘gender’ from the one that corresponds with the sex they were born with. Even when a few began claiming this less than a decade ago, the issue existed for years on the periphery of my consciousness, like a crazy homeless person on a big city sidewalk walking around without a shirt muttering absurdities. It was so insane, so out there, how could anyone with half a brain possibly take it seriously?
Except, they were taken seriously, eventually, in part or in whole because in the wake of legalized gay marriage the left needed some other ‘cause’ to glom onto to keep the gravy train rolling. To be frank, I didn’t see it coming, at least not nearly to the extent we’re experiencing now. But I should have. Social justice is, after all, a train ride with no actual destination. These activist groups don’t just declare victory and fold up tent. They reinvent themselves over and over again. There’s always, ALWAYS “more work to do.”
Now, the “work” isn’t just to grant these mentally ill activists (to be fair, not all transgender people are activists) complete, unfettered access to every conceivable women’s space, it’s also to confuse (a.k.a. ‘groom’) as many children as possible in hopes of growing their numbers. And they’ve succeeded to astonishing effect. We are sadly at a point in history where people who blindly accept every absurd component of so-called “gender theory” control the culture, the institutions, and the psyche of this country and much of the rest of the Western world. And the rest of us - the sane ones - marvel at their seemingly overnight success and wonder how in the world we can possibly push back. CARTOONS | Al Goodwyn View Cartoon
But push back we must, or Western civilization will be lost. That’s not an understatement, it’s a tale much older than the decline of Rome. But how? One the one hand, those of us on the reality side of things - in this case gender reality - know that this nonsense is all made up. If gender dysphoria is real, it exists in the minds of mentally ill people and can only be properly addressed from a psychological - not a physical - perspective. Because no matter what you do, you will never, ever turn a man into a woman or a woman into a man, and butchering them and pretending otherwise is only worsening an already horrible problem.
On the other hand, in a free society we tend to allow adults to do horribly destructive things to their own bodies. Maybe that isn’t always best, but it is what it is and it’s not going to change anytime soon. What we can do, however, is focus our attention, waging war on five key issues that matter to ordinary people in hopes of fighting the gender absurdists to a draw, at least for now.
Here are the five “transgender” issues that are most likely to rankle ordinary Americans:
Protect our children
People who believe in hormone 'therapy,' puberty blockers, or physical mutilations for children under 18 years old (and thus under the age of consent) are monsters. Full stop. Parents who want this for their children should have them taken away, and medical practitioners who perform these mutilations should go to prison. There can be no compromise on this. None. Further, teachers and preschool workers who attempt to groom children in the classrooms and daycares of America should find themselves without a job quicker than they can cite their ridiculous pronouns. Simply put: leave the kids out of this, you sick freaks.
Protect women’s prisons
To be fair, trans prisoners should be protected and not thrown in with violent male prisoners and left to fend for themselves. However, sending people with penises (you know … men) to women's prisons displays zero regard for the suffering this inflicts on a vulnerable, defenseless population with nowhere to run. What kind of psychopath would do this to someone, even as punishment? And yet, occurrences of male to female prison rape continue to pile up as leftist politicians turn a blind eye. At an absolute minimum, nobody with a male appendage should ever be locked in a confinement facility with a biological female, ever.
Protect women’s spaces
Allowing people with penises (men) to roam unencumbered in women's spaces like spas, bathrooms, locker rooms, and the like denies both human nature and physical reality. It's not just about the things that could and do go wrong, but also the inherent right of biological females to feel safe and comfortable in their own designated spaces.
Protect women’s sports
No, biological males shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's sports, and thinking otherwise displays zero understanding of human biology and physiology and zero regard for sportsmanship or fairness. It’s utterly absurd, and finally ordinary people are beginning to see the depths of it. Frankly, Lia Thomas is the best thing to happen to the gender reality movement since, well, ever. You can almost see the red-pills popping every time normals see this towering hulk of a man standing head and shoulders above his female competition. You go girl!
Protect free speech
Yes, targeted harassment and purposeful cruelty is wrong, but people who think others should be forced - by law or by threat of job loss or banishment from a 'public square' - to call transgender people a pronoun related to anything other than their biological sex are petty tyrants. Last I checked, we have freedom of speech and thought in this country.
Decent people can agree that people with gender dysphoria should be treated with compassion and respect as human beings made in God's image. In truth, limiting the excesses of the transgender movement by addressing these issues would remove much of the ill will that currently exists among conservatives who see this absurd belief system being forced upon them. Ironically, it would allow transgender people to be seen and accepted by more people as individuals rather than pawns in a destructive culture war. Most people want to see respect and basic human dignity for everyone. What we don't want is a radical group of tyrannical activists dictating their insanity on the rest of us.

I saw no mention of the mentally ill women who identify as males being incarcerated in men’s prisons.
Hmmm...throw the queers in with lesbians. They’ll behave.
There once was a queer from Khartoum
took a lesbian up to his room,
they argued all night over who had the right
to do what, and with which, and to whom.

OOPS...doubled up.

Mental illness is a HUGE problem right now.
We can make no progress if we cannot even say that transgenders are mentally ill.
Good.
Political correctness is a major threat to us, in my opinion.
As you suggest, we are targeted with charges of “hate speech” and that we hate gays/transsexual peoples, if we dare to say that transgender people have a mental illness or mental condition.
And given the control over language and debates which the left has, for whatever reason they have that control, we aren’t allowed to say certain things without being labeled as bigoted.
How times have changed. In 1996, prominent Democrats such as Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Pat Leahy, Dick Durbin, and Patrick Leahy, all voted for the Defense of Marriage Act. It’s hard to believe now, but at one time, even most Democrats were willing to say that, notwithstanding other “gay” issues, that marriage was indeed a man and a woman, and it was not bigoted to say so.
Political correctness has only become stronger over the years, and here we are, unable to even publicly say that transgender people have a mental condition.
“Conservatives” (meaning politicians not you or me) want to get along with their colleagues too much.
Her response? "Hold it".
Indeed, that right there does present an obstacle.
good list,i agree with the article
