Ukraine’s president said Wednesday that Russia must pull back to its pre-war positions as a first step before diplomatic talks, a negotiating line that Moscow is unlikely to agree to anytime soon.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he currently sees no willingness on the part of Russia to resume earnest negotiations on ending the three-month war.
“At the beginning, there was an impression that we can move ahead, that there would be a certain result or some outcome of those talks. But it all has stalled,” Zelenskyy said through an interpreter by video link to attendees at this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

And it’s a shame. If Russia went the route of China in the 1990’s they would have fared so much better. They have the resources, land, and they had a decent population. Instead, they acted like greedy little pigs. The leaders of Russia stole generations worth of wealth to fund their yachts and excessive lifestyles.

Beyond the immediate conditions, consider the outcome if we are perceived by the world as losing this war. And, we don’t have to lose big to lose.
Let’s say at the end of the year, we are in roughly the same spot militarily, with no win in sight. We have built this crisis on the presumption we are going to ‘defeat’ the Russians. If we do not, the world and NATO will blame us.

DC is constantly attacking the American people in countless ways. Seeing them lost their trumped up war and getting humiliated would weaken them and be good for our future.
It would badly damage the WEF Davos DC London globalism project. If they prevail it would embolden DC.
That's because there are two distinct opposite truths being reported.
Russia is intent on winning this war and we have a very weak and compromised administration leading this nation.
Russia is also at this very moment executing their winning strategy in the Mideast and Africa (Syria, Sudan, Mali, etc.) while also performing in Ukraine.
Their goal is to MRGA and with our administration that is wholly anti-American they certainly have a path to victory.
The USA is sitting on their hands exhausting all our efforts and resources in Ukraine while the Russia/China/Iran axis are building new alliances with nations left out in the cold.
Even Canada is already anticipating the collapse of the USA.

I think the $40 billion gift might have been a one time thing. In any case, things might change drastically in Washington by November.
