I laugh when I hear that.

In an open market the ruble would be worth less than used toilet paper. When you have markets where foreign investors are not allowed to sell….well, that’s not really a market is it?

Capital is not moving into Russia. At all.

And it’s a shame. If Russia went the route of China in the 1990’s they would have fared so much better. They have the resources, land, and they had a decent population. Instead, they acted like greedy little pigs. The leaders of Russia stole generations worth of wealth to fund their yachts and excessive lifestyles.

But yeah, the ruble is “strong.” What a joke.
