Got lucky and fell into it tonight. LOL
We’re grateful for the rain. I imagine all the farmers are sleeping well each night now.
It’s also nice to be able to step outside and not choke on dust and pollen.
The not choking is a wonderful bonus from the rain. Maybe one day we’ll get that feeling. It is quite chilly out there though. Tempted to put out the kitties’ heated bed pads. But it’ll be 99 in two days crazily enough. They might enjoy the cool air.
Not choking is a great bonus. There’s still pollen but not the massive amounts we had. The trees are pretty much through with that now.
I wouldn’t worry about the kitties. Unless it’s going to dip into the low 40s or colder, they’ll be just fine. That’s frisky weather. >^..^<
First good thing I’ve heard about this horror story. May she recover fully...and may G-D judge swiftly ALL those who use this tragedy for their political ends as they did the tragedy in Buffalo!
They ssemed perfectly happy when I went out to refill the water dish. Grey was in her carrier bed where she spends 23 hours a day when it’s not 100 degrees, and Shadow was lurking around the back door so he could get petted first thing when I went out. He is a glutton for scritches. LOL!
It is good that the trees have matured enough to be done with all that pollen. Here, too. So why do I still have such allergies? LOL!

Glad to see you’ve finally gotten some rain. Not choking on pollen and dust is probably the most beneficial result, but getting the “poo” to absorb and no longer “perfume”the air can’t be very far behind! Hope you get a steady supply from now on.
As hot as it’s been, they’re probably enjoying tonight’s cool temps. No energy to roam their territories when it’s hot.
You have allergies because even though the trees are through spewing, there’s still other stuff spewing. Just not as heavily. Same here. And you also have a lot of dust in the air. We did, too, until this rain system finally moved in. It was so dusty, the moon looked brown. blech!

Yes, we’re finally breathing easy after weeks of choking.
And the lack of poo stink is WONDERFUL. LOL! That disappeared after the first rainfall and is gone for good now. We have two more days of rain and that will do us for a while.
How are things your way?
I hope she recovers too. Then she has to face the reality of who it was that shot her. That will hurt worse than the physical pain.

They do seem friskier tonight. They are sapped by the heat like their hoomans. I have purposely kept the house cooler this week so I can savor it when it’s 104 on Sunday. God. I hate summer.
Things have been really pretty good here lately. Weather has been just great for more than a week straight, sunny, blue cloudless skies, warm, even VERY warm, temperatures. My idea of Heaven. Tree-falls from last winter have been cleared, the lawn’s been mowed (I love that smell!...I have no allergies). All and all, I’m ready for Summer! Will you be working at the museum over the Memorial Day Weekend, 5/28-30? Is it usually busy then?

She can deal with who shot her. She knew who he was long before now. I just hope she recovers.
That kind of heat saps the energy from anything living. Kitties, pooches, birds, hoomans. LOL Your kitties are probably loving it tonight.
They aren’t going to be very happy with that 104 Sunday. UGH!
Our temps will be comfortable enough through Sunday, though muggy, then we heat up to upper 80s Monday. With the rain we’ve gotten and will get the next couple of days, it’s still going to be steamy then.
