Lawlessness, complete moral decay, kids without two parents, not valuing work, social media. Locking kids up in school is a gross treatment of the symptoms.

In our schools now there are people actively messing with troubled kids and suggesting that their problem is that they were born the wrong sex and what is wrong with their life can be fixed by becoming a tranny.

I am sure many realize after getting this idea that it is all a horrible mistake and the anger happens.

I have seen this first hand with people I know.

My reply here is not in the context of what Revel wrote. But men in a few specific military specialties are thoroughly and frequently trained to kill many enemies face to face. They're taught to do so without emotion. Someone who is very unhealthy might also fail to be very emotional after killing an attacker in self-defense.

I know a man who was a helicopter mechanic. He's very emotional to this day about having been a doorgunner.

But I've also known quite a few combat soldiers (real, light combat MOSs, infantry, combat engineers of the bravo type, etc.) who had killed many and weren't emotional about it. But they would not intentionally harm any innocent person. Hard combat training tends to squeeze any impulsiveness right out of them and expose any who don't have their heads screwed on right. Those who lost close buddies were affected by that, though.

I'm convinced that it has something to do with an individual having all of the pride taken out of them (one effect of real combat training). Humility is one of the keys to effectiveness and survivability (physical and mental).

Some soldiers didn't talk much about the violence. Others did.

Same with some police known by me. Some were ate up after an incident. Others weren't.

Great thought out response to any of these idiots that blame the gun, and not the individual or the system that should be in place to make these insane acts.. difficult. Armed teachers in Texas, fairly certain.

Border control that finds these Salvadorans— who do NOT fit in with several generations of Texans who are of a different hispanic heritage and legal, proud US citizens.

Close the border. Deport all illegals. Period.

Removes the large numbers of undetected criminal juveniles and the large numbers of males of military fighting age— inserted into our country by the cartel... and even paid to do this kind of thing, and rob, rape and make a name for themselves.

That is an incredibly ignorant statement and utterly lacking in compassion for those that struggle with various forms of mental illness. Very few people with mental illness harm others physically or are cold blooded killers. Some people that do these acts of violence are mentally ill. All people that are mentally ill do not commit acts of violence. For that matter any sane person under ‘right’ circumstances could act impulsively as well. I am not excusing this utterly vile evil sick POS person’s actions but please don’t lump everyone with mental illness into this category. It’s not true and it’s wrong. People with mental illness don’t need your judgment or stigmatization on top of their struggle.

Per Andy Ngo: Authorities in Uvalde, Texas say Salvador Raimondo Ramos, 18, is the gunman who killed his grandmother before murdering 14 young children at an elementary school and a teacher. Two officers were also shot but survived. Ramos was reportedly killed by responding police.
