Theaters in Washington, D.C. will extend a mask and vaccine requirement for patrons through at least the end of July.
The announcement arrives as case numbers of the virus in the Northeast and Midwest have begun to rise and some government officials have urged those in charge to consider reinstating indoor mask mandates.

We’ve seen this movie.
Gross. It figures DC would mandate people wearing a piece of dirty laundry over their noses and mouths to watch a movie.
They don’t have the gumption to say “NO.”
I’m not going to blame businesses for this. Much of this is simply businesses trying to avoid getting sued. If the Govt says people should mask then that opens the door to any ambulance chaser.
Most will take them off when it gets dark and the movie starts. And I doubt that they’ll stop selling popcorn and Coke.
People still go to movie theaters?
Too bad they don’t believe in following the science.
