The corn isn’t going to be beautiful if we don’t get some rain soon. We haven’t had rain in over a week and that rain wasn’t much. The air is full of dust and it made the moon look brown last night.

Dang, your temps are still in the 90s now? UGH! I feel for ya.

Erk...that with the humidity makes it worse than my 103, I imagine.

I know...we’re the desert. Hope you get some soon! And it’s STILL 90. Sometimes I go sit outside for a bit, but not tonight.

I did check the kitties’ water and it felt nice and cool, though, so all is good there.

Looks like we might be getting a break for the weekend. My fingers and toes are crossed. The 80s sound heavenly right now. LOL!

YOU STILL WATCH TV??? The last show I remember seeing was “THE MIDDLE”, which my wife loved, and I thought was pretty OK. She used to love “24”, and “Going Bad”. 24 just made me shake my head and laugh. “Hon, there’s nothing real about this”, “I don’t care”. And Going Bad? Who could possibly want to watch such a gruesome, violent show about drug pushers (besides my wife)? Quite a lot of folks apparently, as it was very successful. Too many folks have lead far too sheltered lives and have NO sense of the reality of violence.

While my kids were growing up I would NOT allow a TV in the house, so when we traveled about and stayed at a hotel/motel we’d always turn on the TV to see what was on. THE ONLY SHOWS WORTH WATCHING WERE DECADES OLD SITCOMS!!! It’s only gotten worse.

I watched most of them. Some came on when something I liked better was on the other channel. LOL! Good score!

I watch the shows I like on the computer. NCIS, BlueBloods, FBI, FBI Most Wanted, Grey’s Anatomy, Autopsy [on REELZ] from America and some excellent British series. More than one, of course, but there just aren’t that many worth the time.

I loved 24!

Yes, very mellow. Pink Panther was iconic. The movie was awesome, too.

Yeah, you aren’t supposed to expect much rain there, though 9 months is way too long without any. Even in the desert.

We can’t seem to get rain to move through here though it rains elsewhere across the state. There’ll be a little tomorrow but it won’t be anywhere near us. We hope to get a little, at least, this weekend when a cold front moves through.

Amazing, but good, that the kitties’ water stays cool when it’s so hot. That’s a good water dish!
