Don't most babies come with a formula making machine?
Two of them actually?

How about just letting any food plant make formula without govt involvement? Why is govt involved in formula making anyway?

“the money would increase Food and Drug Administration staffing to boost inspections of domestic and international suppliers, prevent fraudulent products from getting onto store shelves”
This is what caused the problem in the first place. Why make it worse?

28 million to let a company they needlessly shut down go back to making what they were before? I’m a bit confused what the 28 million is needed for?

House Democrats unveiled a $28 million emergency spending bill Tuesday to address the shortage of infant formula in the United States. What was the value of the infant formula sent to the border by the Biden administration for illegal immigrants?

The feds shut them down because of global warming. The milk base used in infant formula is from cows. Bill Gates has patented the artificially assembled genetic formula for human milk protein. They have not been able to scale that up to production quantities needed but the USDA & FDA shut Abbott down anyway. They regulated Abbott into closing.
This was being done in celebration as steps forward in climate change.

I wonder whose pockets THAT money will be going into?! “Never let a crisis go to waste” indeed. Someone looked at the problem and heard “ca ching, ca chang” and made it their top priority.

Gimme a few trucks and the keys to that warehouse along the border and I will help with the shortage.

I thought the problem was that there wasn’t any available to buy. What good is money going to do?

Exactly.
The FDA has been dragging its feet on inspecting and approving the opening of the Abbott plant.
This shouldn’t have even been an issue. It only is because of the incompetence of the government.

Screw up the private sector, blame it for the problems, throw other peoples money at it to show how much you care. Three easy steps.
