A federal judge is standing by a previous ruling that an Indiana transgender student must be allowed to use the boys restroom.
Judge Tanya Walton Pratt, an Obama appointee, has denied a motion from the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville to put on hold a previous injunction forcing John R. Wooden Middle School to allow the transgender student to use the boys bathroom, WTHR-TV reported.
Pratt ruled the district failed to show evidence that proved it would suffer "irreparable harm" if the student was allowed to use the boys restroom.
"In addition, the School District has not presented any new arguments or evidence to demonstrate that the public interest weighs in favor of maintaining the School District’s authority over such matters until more clear and direct guidance on Title IX is provided," Pratt wrote.
The school had previously prevented the transgender student from using the boys restroom, playing on male sports teams, and from being referred to using the pronouns "he" and "him."
The school, which is appealing the original ruling, had argued that Pratt’s injunction "would be disruptive of the school's operations...and undermine the order and authority of the school."

Let the freaks uses the teacher’s bathroom since the teachers are pushing this on them anyway.
Why didn’t the judge just tell “it” to drop their shorts and check to see if it is a boy or a girl??
Yes, I think we have many laws that have been stretched in
such a manner.
Was Rand Paul absent that day?
correct

Isn’t it worse if one biological female uses a male bathroom (where the chances of more males at any given one time, is higher than the other way around)? I’m confused by your statement because you acknowledge the safety aspect.
I say just put in higher urinals and remove the toilets. Guys can figure out how to go #2 somewhere, but I just want to raise the bar, so to speak!
It is time to start ignoring these idiotic rulings by corrupt judges and refuse to comply.
Practiced arguing against idiots like you.
Judge Tanya Walton Pratt is another Barack Obama stooge. Go figure!
I scanned her Wiki bio. Her quals were female and black.
I’m setting an egg timer for how long before one of these ‘trans’ girls hanging out in a testosterone infested high school boys restroom cries rape.
Circa 1966 in high school we would have welcomed girls in our bathroom if they were hot. Not so much other strange genders of which we did not understand. Hot is good. Ugly boys as women are just odd.
The worst thing that happened in our bathrooms was smoking cigarettes.
When I joined the Navy in 1970 the restroom, (head), on ship had a large stainless steal trough for urinating. It was large enough for 20 guys to pee into it and it flowed into a single drain. Someone could convert one toilet into a similar system that would, technically, act as one urinal.
Ignore him.

“Someone could convert one toilet into a similar system that would, technically, act as one urinal.”
Actually, no. Along about 1990 all the big companies went from urinals right next to each other with no partitions to awkwardly bolting a privacy panel between them. (I was actually peeing one day when a workman came in with partitions for installation.) I’m not sure what drove the change but since then I have NEVER been in a company bathroom that had more than one urinal where there wasn’t a panel between them. Initially, at the company where I was, I thought it was an ego protector to shield lightly built managers from the big honkers who worked for them. But this change has been so universal in Florida, including shopping centers, doctor’s offices and every public building that I suspect it has been mandated by law. (In the late ‘50’s I remember a primary school bathroom where the urinals, with no partitions where so far off the ground most of us had to stand on tiptoe. Since it was built as a primary school and not a barracks, I have to wonder what went through their minds to put them at adult heights.)
In the 1980’s in a million square foot facility there was one bathroom with an entire wall of 20 urinals with no partitions separating them. That seemed to be the norm. But that was when the bulk of people working had been in the military. As time moved on those who had the military “experience” were fewer and fewer until they became the exception. That might be part of it.
Given that we now have “trans” people I think a little separation is a good thing. I just wish there was less regulation so that companies could do what seemed logical than what it “required.”
It be nice to see these sue crazy troublemakers kicked out of these schools.
