To President Biden, public health researchers, and the media, violent crime is all about guns. But a new survey finds that people are badly misinformed about how much violent crime involves guns. The average likely American voter is way off, thinking that over 46% of violent crimes involve guns. In fact, the true figure is less than 8%.
Not surprisingly, those who believe that most violent crime involves guns are more likely to view gun control as the solution.

I think the bad policy may actually come first. It’s an ideological thing. They want to disarm the public (because they have bad things in mind for us). So, that’s their policy. Then they go and invent information to justify the policy. The lies enable the policy.
It’s the other way round........................
He has it backwards. Ideology drives policy, disinformation put out to the public as propaganda is designed to support the ideology.
Nobody in DC gives a tinkers damn about opinion except as a a thing they need to well understand in order to overcome.

The crux of the matter is that we don’t have a free press. We have a Democrat-controlled propaganda machine that spews out untruths, lies, distortions, and carefully crafted pro-marxist messages 24 x 7, year after year. That machine is as dedicated to the destruction of the USA as is the Democrat party.
