Sadly, they aren’t suspending children, they face expulsion.
I work with a lady who is gay (she binds her chest and is married to a chick). I can’t help my raising - but I instinctively reply “ma’am” to her when we speak. I don’t know if I’m committing a faux pas or not.
The school officials deserve to be thrown in prison for their cruel treatment of the kids.

Gay and Trans are two different things and they are frequently at odds with each other. For example, men who say they are women think lesbians should have sex with them but lesbians push back because the trans have a penis so the Transpeople accuse them of Transphobia.
I guess if students started calling each M__ F_r’s that would be OK ???
Kicking kids out of public school for “mis-gendering” would be doing them a favor.
What they mean by misgendering is truegendering people who demand to be misgendered.

I graduated from high school in1972. If this had happened when I was in school, I’d have looked, in the hallway, at a “tansgender girl”, pointed, and said, “That girl has a penis. He’s not a girl.”
It would be fun to see 2/3 of the school get expelled.
This is one of the riches areas in the country. So strange this is what’s important to them.
Not much sex diversity there. They have a token man there? Of course it’s a broad assumption to just assume he’s a man, or that he identifies as male.

That was my first thought, Bring it. I know lots of families that are still fuming over the CRT and rape nonsense which led to Gov Youngkin. And if they think this will help the Democrats going forward, I really do need to find out who their drug dealer is.

Over a million kids didn’t return to public school this fall. Private, parochial and homeschooling are growing. “Class Dismissed” was an interesting pre-covid film made of one family’s journey from public school to homeschooling. It was interesting to see different ways family homeschool.
