Vice President Harris hauled in nearly half a million dollars in book royalties during her first year in office, ethics disclosure forms show.
Harris reported $325,000 in royalty earnings from her 2019 book “The Truths We Hold,” and another $130,000 for her children’s book “Superheroes Are Everywhere,” Bloomberg reported Friday.
The cash far outstripped President Biden’s, who reported between $15,001 and $50,000 in royalties for “Promise Me, Dad,” — a heartfelt 2018 memoir about his late son Beau Biden, who died of brain cancer in 2015.

Must be nice. 🙄

Did the “Ethics Disclosure Forms” REALLY disclose what was going on?
Did all the Dems in Congress “buy” 1,000 copies each?

No ethics.
This is bribery, plain and simple.
Harris is totally unpopular. In no way does she deserve these royalties for a book that will not sell.
But this is how the system has been perverted to fund candidates.

Thinden, You would think this would be the obvious question any “journalist” would ask and then include in the article. You and I asked it immediately. I’m not a journalist, are you?

That is a lot of royalties on the 63 copies of her books sold.

To: ChicagoConservative27
Let’s be candid. Nobody buys her books. The so-called royalties are bribes (not necessarily originated at the publisher) or payoffs for good puppet service while illegally occupying the vice presidency. Recalling a famous politician’s attempted explanation when challenged that he ran a corrupt office, “we have the best government money can buy!”
(Oops! Definitely off script, far too honest— ha!)

I think it was the advance money, which publishers give to authors, usually expecting to recover that in sales. In Kamala’s case, as in Hillary’s, huge advances are simply political contributions in disguise.
And then, of course, BLM could buy in bulk at a discount, would simply give those books away.

As we all know, “book deals” are nothing more than bribe-laundering.
