Kathy Barnette, a Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, has a social media history packed with anti-Muslim and anti-LGBTQ sentiments, as well as conspiracy theories about former President Obama.
(snip)
Driving the news: Former President Donald Trump warned Republicans Thursday that Barnette's history will preclude her from winning a general election in Pennsylvania. Trump has endorsed celebrity TV doctor Mehmet Oz in the race.
(snip)
In one of the tweets, Barnette said "pedophilia is a cornerstone of Islam."
(snip)
Worth noting: Barnette talked derogatorily about Muslims, Islam and Obama in speeches as well, CNN reports.

- It’s not 2010 any longer
- PA isn’t KY
- Barnette doesn’t have a famous politician dad
What was ok to say in 2010 is not ok to say now. Sadly.
Ted Cruz, as well, if I remember correctly. they were determined to get Daveid Dewhurst elected.
Yes, and Oz has Trump’s back whereas Romney does not.
So, again, I don’t see any Romney’s here. But if someone turned out to be Romney, I would bet on McCormick filling the role.
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
This means she is becoming a threat, otherwise they would have ignored her.
I’m taking my time because I live in the state and want to win the seat.
It matters, for things like confirmations and impeachments.
Again, I’m not into the “losing with honor” thing.
You should study Rand’s race.
I think it was the last time someone who had never held office before won a U.S. Senate seat
He beat both a popular Secretary of State in the primary and a sitting attorney general (D) in the general..
Despite all the odds against him including Mitch McConnell and the entire GOP establishment who said repeatedly he could not win.
Sound familiar?
Sure, it sounds familiar.
Like Christine O’Donnell and Sharon Angle sound familiar to me.
Correct but Ted was an officeholder so did have that going for him but yes, he was very much an outsider too at least in the primary...
Miracles do happen and I hope it happens next week.
The other two candidates are hopeless anyway from my perspective
Christine O’Donnell ran a really bad campaign, which is unfortunate becuase she would have been an excellent senator.
Kathy Barnette is running a good, strong, tough bulldog campaign. And whoever wins the primary is lilely going up against a crazy man who once held a gun on an unarmed black man, which he has tried to explain away with a bunch of mealy mouthing and weasel words. Black Democrats hate the guy.
Oz won’t bring it up. Neitehr will McCormick. It’s not polite, and besides, it’s jsut a black thing. Or so the country-club Bushies will tell you.
Kathy will challenge it, and she’s the one who has demonstrated competence on the debate stage, and the bulldog attitude needed to take on these crazed radical lunatics.
She’s the only one with a clear alternative vision and hte willingness to take on the Dhimmicraps.
Sounds good to me.
She is a lot more competent and presentable than those examples you only have to look at the videos to see that.
The grassroots are excited about her candidacy why do you think that?
We shall see.
I am concerned about an O’Donnell, Angle, Roy Moore type of flame-out with her.
But I’ll back her all the way should she win the primary.
The grassroots seemed excited about their candidacies as well.
How did those races turn out, exactly?
We’ve seen Barnette run before. It didn’t work out well.
I’m not eager for a repeat of that performance.
Wait, I want her elected to tell TJE SQUAD off and to tell Mitch off, too.
So you really think the Biden stooge will win in November whoever the GOP nominee is?
All three of the leading candidates have never held office before you are aware of this?
How much are you willing to bet on a Biden stooge victory then when gas is $6 ?
I’m sure Smoking Joe or some other Freepers will take your bet.
Proceeds to the site or charity...
So she tweeted about undesirables. So what?
What do you have against black women?
