You can say a lot of things about Fetterman, but him being stupid is about as far from the truth as you can get.
He's an avowed socialist, and a very effective public speaker. He has been very cagey in finding opportunities and using them effectively. His statewide campaign to legalize pot was, in hindsight, a brilliant way to raise his name recognition to a statewide level and make a nothing job like Lt governor into a launching pad for this senate bid. His wife is a social media darling as well and endears him to low information voters who only care about superficial things (her appeal escapes me personally, but I was never going to be swayed to vote for him in the first place)

I have been trying to tell the fools on here who have absolutely no idea about PA that the idea Oz or McCormick can beat Fetterman this fall is a falacy.
He will eat them for breakfast and crap them out by lunch.
He stands 6’9. He moved INTO Braddock and stayed, not only that he was the Mayor there for 14 years... Oz nor McCormick would be caught dead in Braddock, and if they were forced to travel through it would roll up their windows and lock their doors and speed as quickly as they could through.
This guy is the real deal.. I’ve met him a few times, I don’t agree with his politics, but you can’t ignore this guy, when he’s in the room you know it. He’s not some generic D, he’s a very very strong D candidate who has paid his dues in ways few if any candidates have.
The ONLY way Oz or McCormick wins against Fetterman this fall is if the damage that Biden and the economy to the democrat brand is so sever that a ham sandwich would win as long as it had an R by its name.
There is ZERO, ZERO change that a fraud like OZ or a Wall Street Bush republican like McCormick, who are on their BEST DAY, just a generic R candidate are going to beat Fetterman and connect with the blue collar working class republican electorate and independent and conservative democrat voters in this state vs Fetterman.. its NOT going to happen folks.
The only candidate who has any shot of not disappearing in Fetterman’s shadow is Barnette. Oz and McCormick will never even register against him. They will come in and throw the same old tired standard attacks that the GOP always does, and he’ll swat them down without even trying because unlike them he has WALKED THE WALK... He’s got more on the ground credibility than ANY politician in PA.. and likely one of the top 5 or 10 in the nation. They throw out some GOP ad homonym talking point and he’ll simply state come on down to Braddock come down to my neighborhood and see what I’ve been doing, etc etc...
The only person who is going to have a shot against him is someone who is willing to go all in and truly believes what she’s selling. McCormic and Oz are neither.

You and I agree on how strong Fetterman is. He is very strong as a candidate. I’m glad someone else on here actually realizes that.

Oh, by the way, Baris talked about this race a ton on his podcast today. I was half listening. He killed Hannity for dragging Trump into the race (to endorse Oz). He had a fairly long rant. I have to listen to it again.
But he hasn’t polled the race, so he could only say so much.
No, you are showing yourself to be a fool. It’s beyond clear you know not about what you speak, easy to repeat an ad hominem attack, a lot harder to actually get to know the opponent and the battlefield, and its beyond obvious you know neither by making such a foolish statement.
I have lived in PA since 1986, I was one of the earliest people on this site to predict not only would Trump win in 2016, but also that he would do it marching right up through the rust belt.
And I am saying this with as much assuredness, Fetterman is a beast figuratively, literally and politically. He will eat Oz or McCormick for breakfast and crap them out before lunch. This guy is the real deal, he’s not some Just came the party hack like Oz or McCormick. He will play and connect with the blue collar voters of this state in a huge way. He is not some generic D candidate, and Oz and McCormick on their BEST day will never be more than a Generic R candidate.

You think you are going to drop Oz or McCormick in places like Tionest, New Castle, Reading, pick any random small town or city in pa, they are going to connect with voters? Let alone bring in the disenfranchised folks that Trump did in 16 and 20, you are just a flat out fool... Let alone you juxtapose either one of them against Fetterman... not going to happen.
Only candidate that isn’t going to disappear in Fetterman’s shadow in Barrette IMHO.. Folks are going to remember a small black woman giving as good as she got against Fetterman, they aren’t going to remember or be impressed with Oz or McCormic smirking as they get bitch slapped just like she did to them in the GOP Senate debates.
You went on that rant for nothing. I’ve endorsed Barnette, not the other two RINO assclowns. I urge PA Republicans to vote for her on Tuesday.

OK, I will give ya that. But all one has to do is drive thru the town he was mayor of and see how much good he did. I drive thru there because of my job and it is a ghetto. Its not safe at night and barely safe in the summer daylight hours. But PA voters are famed for picking people who arent fit for jobs. Caesey comes to mind. If it wasnt for his dads name he would be selling shoes.
