I have been trying to tell the fools on here who have absolutely no idea about PA that the idea Oz or McCormick can beat Fetterman this fall is a falacy.
He will eat them for breakfast and crap them out by lunch.
He stands 6’9. He moved INTO Braddock and stayed, not only that he was the Mayor there for 14 years... Oz nor McCormick would be caught dead in Braddock, and if they were forced to travel through it would roll up their windows and lock their doors and speed as quickly as they could through.
This guy is the real deal.. I’ve met him a few times, I don’t agree with his politics, but you can’t ignore this guy, when he’s in the room you know it. He’s not some generic D, he’s a very very strong D candidate who has paid his dues in ways few if any candidates have.
The ONLY way Oz or McCormick wins against Fetterman this fall is if the damage that Biden and the economy to the democrat brand is so sever that a ham sandwich would win as long as it had an R by its name.
There is ZERO, ZERO change that a fraud like OZ or a Wall Street Bush republican like McCormick, who are on their BEST DAY, just a generic R candidate are going to beat Fetterman and connect with the blue collar working class republican electorate and independent and conservative democrat voters in this state vs Fetterman.. its NOT going to happen folks.
The only candidate who has any shot of not disappearing in Fetterman’s shadow is Barnette. Oz and McCormick will never even register against him. They will come in and throw the same old tired standard attacks that the GOP always does, and he’ll swat them down without even trying because unlike them he has WALKED THE WALK... He’s got more on the ground credibility than ANY politician in PA.. and likely one of the top 5 or 10 in the nation. They throw out some GOP ad homonym talking point and he’ll simply state come on down to Braddock come down to my neighborhood and see what I’ve been doing, etc etc...
The only person who is going to have a shot against him is someone who is willing to go all in and truly believes what she’s selling. McCormic and Oz are neither.
You and I agree on how strong Fetterman is. He is very strong as a candidate. I’m glad someone else on here actually realizes that.
We just don’t agree on the best person to oppose him.
Look, whoever wins on Tuesday for the GOP I’m behind 100%.
Oh, by the way, Baris talked about this race a ton on his podcast today. I was half listening. He killed Hannity for dragging Trump into the race (to endorse Oz). He had a fairly long rant. I have to listen to it again.
But he hasn’t polled the race, so he could only say so much.
Thank you for your input. From outside PA Fetterman seems like the media’s Obama (circa 2004) this year. I’m cheering for Barnette.
