There’s some good non-leftist commedians out there. I don’t know if he’s conservative, but for example Sebastian Maniscalco offers up (or used to) humor based on his family, growing up, or topics that are not political in themselves. Source material leftists stopped tapping a long time ago, offering instead non-stop political venom. In some of his acts, you can hear Maniscalco starting down a road that would really skewer lefty pieties, like his stories about his father knowing what to do if a guy in a diaper is bothering the neighborhood, but sadly he pulls his punches. Still, very different from the repetitive editorials from the unfunny leftists “comedians”.

The problem is that you cannot exaggerate Leftist positions. Because they don't think you're making jokes. They think you're making suggestions.
In 10 years, the joke becomes a policy position.
Comedians are pathologic, insecure, paranoid, narcissistic losers. All of them. Don’t pay attention to them is my advice. Life is full of things to laugh about. We don’t need comedians and there’s no reason to suppose that some “competition” is necessary, especially with retarded, bitter Leftwads.
You mean other than the most popular radio host in history Rush Limbaugh who incorporated comedy into his show literally all the time?
Or Greg Gutfeld who has the largest audience of any of the late night comedy shows despite being on cable?
Or Stephen Crowder who himself has a large audience?
Or the Babylon Bee which also has a large audience?
Or Ryan Long who is one of the rising stars in comedy?
Or indeed President Trump who makes jokes and hilarious sarcastic comments all the time?
I love the part about how right leaning comedy “tends to punch down”. You mean at reporters? You mean at the Hollywood crowd? You mean at various snooty leftist elites? Those are the primary targets. and the Left doesn’t “punch down” at the White working class all the time? They’ve been doing that all my life. Trust me, as a Southerner I’ve been well aware of it for several decades. Then they whine about “racism” (the standard BS) and claim that Conservative comedy is “meanspirited”....as if Leftist comedy is not? Their ideological blinders are hilarious.

I don’t know why you would argue so forcefully on their behalf. That’s one of the reasons I have a problem with paid comedians. They wouldn’t help you or me even on a day of leisure. Even if you were family. Meanwhile I have nothing in particular against them; I just see no reason to venerate or enrich them. That there are maybe two good-hearted, normal comedians doesn’t prove that the rest of them aren’t sh1theels.

All of them.” I just figured it I could mentioned two that maybe “all” didn’t apply in this situation. Maybe all the others are sh1theels. I have no idea.
I even mentioned YMMV in my post, meaning this was just my opinion.
I think there are some funny comedians, and I like the way Carol Burnett and Tim Conway got me to chuckle without being what I would consider crass. Most comedians don’t do that anymore.
I miss the old days of good clean humor. People used to be able to laugh at themselves. Do we need to take ourselves so seriously all the time? Laughter cheers the heart. I try to have a good laugh now and again, and I hope you do, too.

I also was just speaking my mind. People who have been wronged deserve defense. Rich entertainers get a lot of the defense that honest men deserve because “they make us laugh.” Once one sees their private lives and how they operate, the laughter stops.
I used to laugh at Burnett and Conway, et al. But I soured on Carol Burnett, for example, because she spent so much time mocking rural people and Southerners. I’m not trying to fight about it with you, however! Y’all have a wonderful day.
