Barnette, in her bio on her webpage, says: "Appearing regularly on national TV and radio, Kathy Barnette is a veteran, former adjunct professor of corporate finance, sought-after conference speaker, and conservative political commentator. Next up — Kathy is taking on Washington D.C. and is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania."
The bio also reads: "Kathy served her country proudly for 10 years in the Armed Forces Reserves where she was accepted into Officer Candidacy School. She worked with two major financial firms in corporate America and sat on the board of a pregnancy crisis center for five years."
The questions to the campaign, which said it doubted whether she would have time for an interview because she was booked for interviews continuously until Election Day, were pretty straightforward and simple:
The name of her hometown Where was she an adjunct professor and when? When was she in officer candidate school? What financial institutions did she work at and when? When did she move from Virginia to Pennsylvania? (She says in her book bio from 2018 that she lived in Virginia, so what year did she move to Pennsylvania?) And a confirmation that the college she graduated from was Troy State University. The reply from the campaign manager noted, “Kathy keeps her early life as private as possible as I am sure you can understand why” — a reference one could surmise was to her life story, which she told compellingly in an ad this past week about being the child of rape.
She could be hiding nothing. She could be hiding everything. We don’t know because there are no answers. While people hold a strong distaste for the press, many level-headed conservatives who really want to win this seat in November...

This might be the answer as to why Trump endorsed Oz.
OCS was no cakewalk back in the day. Many female soldiers failed out because their bodies couldn’t handle the heat/rigor/sleep deprivation. I wouldn’t hold this against her if she is conservative.
The most conservative candidate with a chance is who she ie.
But she won’t have a chance if her resume is not accurate and if she failed OCS, it absolutely WILL become an issue in the general election.
Its a down and dirty situation right now. I still intend to vote Barnette on Tuesday here in PA.
Oz was a bad choice on Trump’s part. he is a RINO chameleon in the Romney Etch A Sketch mode. He is whatever he has to be. He WILL disappoint you. Barnette won’t.
Maybe she didn’t graduate and is stating her record honestly. Would you rather she tell a Biden and say she did?
Check the polls; she is right in there. She’s one of the the three who could win, so of course the other two, who are both RINOs, are smearing her.
Serving in the Turkish Army is concerning.
Holding dual citizenship is concerning.
Your wife’s family’s company paying $95 million in fines is concerning.
Especially when the fine is for knowingly firing thousands and thousands of illegal aliens…
Living in NJ is concerning.
Read her positions. @Kathy4Truth the most conservative candidate with a chance. Much more conservative than either McCormick or Oz.
Yeah, all that’s true, but Trump says he’s OK. That’s all some people can think about.
Almost all of us here support President Trump, but blind loyalty to any person is dangerous. Trump can be wrong sometimes, and when he is, we shouldn’t follow him. Endorsing Oz is one of those cases.
Trump endorsed Oz because they’re both celebrities.
I would post my DD Form 214 on line with my ssn, and one duty station blacked out if I were running for office.

1. She may have the weakest resume of any political candidate I've seen in recent years. "Political commentator for Fox News" isn't a real job.
2. She has never held elected office in her life. That would be a point in her favor (see Trump, Donald as a perfect example of why this is often a GOOD thing), but only if she's had a successful career outside politics. On that count ... (A) see #1 above; and (B) she ran once for Congress in 2020 in a suburban district she would have to carry if she wants to win a statewide race, and lost.
3. I don't see how she gets much Democrat support, which is critical in a state like PA where registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by almost 800,000 voters.

My take on her is she’s a grifter looking to latch onto the shortage of blacks in the uppermost ranks of the GOP for a ride on the gravy train.
Assuming this "report" is true, it still doesn't make Trump's endorsement of Oz any more palatable.
Oz cannot answer honestly about abortion. His flip-flop was too well timed to be in alignment with his political aspirations.
He was all on board with "systemic racism" being one of the biggest problems in medicine, and more personal positions that should be patently abhorrent to any right thinking Conservative.
That said, while I haven't served in the military, my father, uncles, grandfather, great grandfather did and I can trace my family's military service back to our time in the old country.
IF the reports about Barnette are true and she's deliberately misleading the public, she should do the right thing and step down from the race. Lying about one's military service to get into office is flat out wrong. (Sidney Blumenthal anyone?)
The same for Dr. Oz. He's lying to the public about his true stance on abortion, his statements about systemic racism being a huge problem in medicine and more. He cannot nor should not be trusted with political office.
What's going to suck about all this is that Democrats will likely get the seat now. The complete failure of the Republican Party in PA (and elsewhere, including my own state) to field quality, fully vetted candidates with unimpeachable backgrounds may be the very reason the Stupid Party (Republicans) don't take back BOTH the House & Senate this year.
I'm seemingly never disappointed by the Republican Party's ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
1. Among all the candidates in the race, he (Oz) stands the best chance of winning in November.
2. The Pennsylvania GOP is a clown show, and Trump wants to screw them for their lack of support before the 2020 election by endorsing an outsider who has no political ties to the state.
Yep.
