ABC’s legal analyst Sunny Hostin said Monday on “The View” that she was “shocked” at complaints about protests outside the homes of Supreme Court justices.
Hostin said, “I was watching a lot of the protests that were happening outside of some of the justices’ homes, and my understanding is that Justice Alito has had to go into hiding because of this, you know, draft opinion that was leaked. And while I think it is terrible that a justice would have to go into hiding, I think it is really clear to the justices now that, 64 to 66 percent of Americans believe that the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade, right? Maybe these protests and maybe this outcry gives Chief Justice Roberts some leverage for a more moderate approach. Because we saw during the hearing that he was looking for a way, a moderate way to handle this case. And I just think when you have the Supreme Court justices like Clarence Thomas coming out this weekend and saying at the 11th Circuit Judicial Conference that they will not be bullied and that people need to live with outcomes they don’t agree with.”
She added, “Then other justices are saying you have no right to stand and freely protest, peacefully protest outside of our homes. We have a right to privacy. Well, women have a right to privacy as well, and women have a right to privacy with their bodies. I’m just shocked that that’s what we’re hearing from men, that’s what we’re hearing from the justices, that’s what we’re hearing from Republicans, that people don’t have a right to protest this draft opinion when the Supreme Court has found that you have a right to protest in front of abortion clinics, that there can be no buffer zone.”

She’s shocked they expect civility from Communists.
It’s literally a federal crime to try to influence judges by protesting at their homes.
If Shady Hostin is correct that “64 to 66 percent of Americans believe that the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade,” then there is no problem. The elected officials can deal with recreating the “right.”
The law escapes those of the thuggery Left....
She’s a public figure. What’s her address so peaceful protestors can show up?
And Hostin is a lawyer…
It isn’t about privacy. It is about the law, and the law prohibits trying to intimidate judges.
But she knows that as the left does. They know if the shoe were on the other foot, they would be screaming about an insurrection.
Same ole, same ole. The left and any action it takes is legal. Everyone else is simply illegal. We cannot continue this way.
Find their homes and protest them. They will get an idea why it’s not a proper thing to do.
All the bill does is provide the same protection for families of SCOTUS justices that has long been given to provide protection to the families of members of Congress. I’m kinda surprised they didn’t already have that.
HERSELF? Is one sick puppy.
AA lawyer.
Why not a huge Republican counter protest at AG Merrick Garlands home over his unwillingness to enforce the law to protect the SC Justices.
Liberals are always throwing out percentages but never cited their sources so it can be verified that the polling was a true representation of society.
Free Republic is no longer the conservative activist voice it once was.
There is no replacement and no one to do the finding nor the going
Round them up and arrest every last one of them.
64 to 66 percent of Americans believe that the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade, right?

Would be interesting to see the percentages from state to state.
If a particular state’s number were less than 50%, I wonder if this Hostin genius would agree that that state should be able to have a law that reflects the majority view of its people.
Trying to influence and intimidate judges.
It’s a great thing that they are democrats or they would have been arrested and convicted of sedition.
Nothi g sunny about cloudy Hostile.
