Roberts is still attempting to persuade Coney Barrett and Kavanaugh to take a more incremental approach
The five-vote majority needed in the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey remains intact months after Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's leaked draft majority opinion was written, according to a report.
The leaked draft majority opinion penned by Alito is dated Feb. 10 and has almost certainly changed multiple times in the almost three months since it was written, but three conservative sources close to the court say that the votes supporting the decision remain unchanged, according to reporting from the Washington Post.
The justices set to join Alito's opinion include Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.

This leak is all about:
1) Pressuring the court
2) Ginning up the activist Lefty base for November GOTV
3) Leftist fundraising
I know it won’t happen, but I think SCOTUS ought to overturn Roe v Wade in a 9-0 vote, just on principle and in solidarity.
Will Roberts call abortion a tax..?
Sure would be nice if there was a:
4) See if any of the other 4, when their vote actually counts, switches to join the majority 5 to save their soul(s).
(just in case that they have one)
According to Faux News .... which is quoting the Washington Compost. LOL
Ruth would have agreed.
Roberts will do everything in his power to stick another knife in the back of conservatives, on that you can rest assured.
30-40 years ago biden did agreed..
Not goi g to happen, but perhaps Roberts will join the majority for the same reason. The image of the court is all he cares about, justice and the Constitution be damned. He had to have gone ballistic over this breach of their protocols.
I don’t know how but it’s obvious Roberts is comprised in some way, and after this, I won’t be surprised if he announces his retirement before the start of the next term.
Good point. Anything coming from the Court on this would be an illegal leak...
But no Roberts?
Peaking of Robert’s, did he find the leaker yet? It should be rather easy.
“I don’t know how but it’s obvious Roberts is comprised in some way...]
I assume you meant he’s compromised, and yes I’ve been saying this since the Obamacare ruling where Roberts is the author of both the majority opinion and the dissenting opinion.
Roberts was devastated the minority vote refused to write a differing dissent, stating that his was legally correct and there was no need to rewrite it. Beautiful!
He is a clown befitting a Bush
None of that is working.
Maybe, just possibly, the image of the Court in the eyes of the Washington Post...
I agree with others: Roberts appears to be compromised.
