For years, women across the country have been warning about the end of abortion, and what it would mean for everyday women. With each new step this country took away from reproductive freedom — the election of President Trump; the confirmation of Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett to the Supreme Court; the upholding of Texas’ clearly unconstitutional SB8 — the threats got more dire and urgent. So some of us chanted, we marched, we protested. We got loud.
Then, last week a leaked draft opinion from Justice Samuel Alito revealed that the Supreme Court is planning to overrule Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey – effectively overturning the federal right to an abortion.
Here’s the problem: What’s about to happen in this country isn’t just an assault on the vocal minority of women who’ve been taking to the streets, to state capitals, to the Capitol to demand that our voices are heard, that our rights aren’t trampled on, that our bodies stay ours.
It’s an assault on the silent majority of this country, too. On the women — and men — who haven’t chanted, marched, or protested. Who haven’t taken to the streets or shown up to halls of power. Who still, nonetheless, want abortion to be safe, accessible, and legal.
It’s a whopping 80% of all Americans, a supermajority. Some of us identify as pro-choice; others don’t. Some of us are Democrats; some are Republicans; and others still are apolitical. Some of us get lifesaving health care from Planned Parenthood; others have protested outside its doors. Some of us believe abortion is fundamental, an extension of our right to privacy and bodily autonomy.

Imagine how much it hurts an unborn child…
good old fox news giving us the liberal take on the situation.
Not even close.
So Fox News is all in on abortion. What a surprise.
It doesn’t end abortion. It turns it over to the states
The great conflation continues. Might Americans support access to abortion? Perhaps. Might they support tipping a perfectly viable fetus from the womb or killing it after birth. No, not on our most evil day.
Well, it isn’t your body that abortion kills, it is a precious living baby it kills. And if our body is ours….. why can’t I refuse the clot shot? That decision doesn’t murder anyone. They can’t have their cake and eat it too.
It would be shut down if people just turned it off and realized they don’t need news all day!!!!
We don’t have TV connection and have not for almost 10 years. BUT, with unlimited internet we tend to watch videos and read a lot of FR...!!!
This is their opinion page. They host opinion writers from all over the spectrum.
In Sunday morning service, our minister was over-the-moon happy that RvW might be struck down. “Pray. Pray. Pray.”
With him, there are some things we’renot crazy about, but he is NOT afraid to “go there” where some believe these things don’t belong in a pulpit. And it tied in perfectly with Mothers Day.
This is their opinion page. Unlike other news outlets they don’t stack it with just one side on any issue.
They had Senator Hawley write on this too:

...and also God who created each of us!!!!
As a friend stated, the take down of Roe v. Wade, which was not constitutional in the first place but passed by activist judges (should have been states decision even back then)... abortion is child sacrifice which is of the god of Baal and Moloch. Letting these gods have dominion over Yahweh was part of taking God out of America.
God- Pro-Life....Satan/Baal/Moloch- Pro-Choice....good v. evil only one choice we get...Choose LIFE in Jesus Christ!!!
This is not a surprise, it’s just fake outrage I order to gin up the GOTV efforts and fundraise. It’s much more appropriate and constitutional to let voters decide in their own states.
Just stop being a sl^t and you’ll have no problems after Roe is flushed. Easy peasy.
They colluded with the rest of the MSM to brand our states red and called Florida for Gore in 2000. Now they give us this tripe that the Asspress could have written.
They are, in my house. This must be part of the fair & balanced motto they claim. /sarcasm
IMO there is not enough discussion on that side of it.
I suppose some states might just say “no abortion” at all, but I don’t think that will be very common. What I do expect is a lot of restriction about partial birth abortion, late term abortion, and other things. Politically, a total ban is hard. But getting rid of the most distasteful aspects of this is comparatively easy. I expect that sensible restrictions will become common.
