Vladimir Putin appeared to walk with a limp and sat with a blanket over his lap during Victory Day commemorations in Moscow today, raising fresh doubts over his health.

at several points - including as he left a speaking podium and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Solider to lay a wreath - Putin appeared to be walking with a heavy step, as if trying to disguise a limp.
And, during the parade itself, he was seen sitting with a heavy blanket across his knees despite geriatric war veterans being sat around him with their laps uncovered.

Just for reference, the high for the temperature today in Moscow....was 50 degrees F (mid-day), with a 10 mph wind, cloudy.
If you were on medication or had health issues....it would not be a pleasant scene to sit there for two hours of a parade.
They all look decrepit. And he doesn’t look/act any different than Brandon.

The unanswered question: Did Putin have surgery for abdominal cancer? Rumors have it that he had such surgery in February and needed a second go round in recent time

Don’t see it. Other than a blanket over his lap his walk doesn’t seem too extraordinary for a man his age. Biden would be similar under the circumstances.

Vladimir Putin was furious when one of his former spies, Alexander Litvinenko, publicly called him a pedophile in 2006 — a slur that likely spurred the Russian leader to order the dissident’s assassination in London four months later, a British report concluded on Thursday.
Litvinenko, who had lived under asylum in Britain since 2000, after defecting from the FSB — the KGB’s successor agency — had ignited Putin’s outrage by claiming on a Russian-language Web site that the spy agency once possessed videotapes showing Putin “making sex with some underage boys.”
The gadfly dissident also recounted in his article Putin’s creepy behavior in one incident in 2006. As news cameras rolled in a tourist-crammed public square near the Kremlin, Putin lifted the shirt of a little boy and kissed him on the bare belly, explaining later, “I wanted to cuddle him like a kitten, and it came out in this gesture.”
“Nobody can understand why the Russian president did such a strange thing as kissing the stomach of an unfamiliar small boy,” Litvinenko noted in the article.

Oil prices dropped this morning, apparently there was speculation about him declaring war on the Ukraine (among other things) in an expected fire and brimstone speech. Guess not a lot of that actually materialized.

With all the media agitation for an assassination, if I’m Putin, there is a heavy firearm under that blanket. And yes, with the number of firearms I’d have under my coat, I might limp,too! So, I say to all these people who say he walks funny, where are his firearms and body armor?
Actually...that’s an old custom...because it doesn’t spread germs.
