On Sunday, the Former Deputy prime minister of Russia, Dmitry Rogozin, threatened the Starlink founder for assisting Ukraine — “Elon Musk, thus, is involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment. And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult – no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”
“The word “Nazi” doesn’t mean what he seems to think it does,” Musk tweeted.”

Cronos, I answered my own question after reading a post of yours.
Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated.
Territory, resources and power.
Same thing most wars have been fought.
Most Mexicans understand the history of The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo far more than most Americans do. After all, the Mexicans were basically forced to give up half their country to a more powerful neighbor, who where at the time were occupying Mexico City as well as California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and portions of Colorado and Wyoming, which were part of Mexico at the time.
Forcing another country to give up their lands at gunpoint is not what I'd call civilized or reasonable.
“The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, signed in February 1848, was a triumph for U.S. expansionism under which Mexico ceded nearly half its land. The Mexican Cession, as the conquest of land west of the Rio Grande was called, included the current states of California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and portions of Colorado and Wyoming. Mexico also came to recognize the Rio Grande as the border with the United States. Mexican citizens in the ceded territory were promised U.S. citizenship in the future when the territories they were living in became states. In exchange, the United States agreed to assume $3.35 million worth of Mexican debts owed to U.S. citizens, paid Mexico $15 million for the loss of its land, and promised to guard the residents of the Mexican Cession from American Indian raids.”
I think musk recently allowed that starlink will remain up in Russia as well
Hey, D1! You and I don’t always agree, but we mostly do. ;-)
On this one, aside from the usual arguments from Pooty tools and fools that drive most people to Ukraine’s side, something else caught my eye:
Rogozin is admitting that US helicopters managed to deliver Starlink terminals to Ukrainian defenders in besieged Mariupol.
...
...
!!!
Apparently, Russian incompetence knows no ends.
I’m also trying to figure out how this guy (Rogozin) ever made it past asst. manager of a local TV wrestling association, but, that’s quite another subject.
Well said. I love how the Putin apologists are not antiwar when Russia invades countries. It reminds me of those in the antinuke crowd who were all for the US imposing a unilateral freeze while the old USSR could build all the nukes it wanted.
Firstly skywise, that article you posted is heavily anti American. “end the unipolar hegemony of the “indispensable nation”. No wonder the Empire of Lies has gone completely berserk”
Secondly, “clear. The U.S. Deep State is milking to Kingdom Come its planned Ukraine gambit to cloak a strategic attack on Russia. The “secret” was to force Moscow into an intra-Slav war in Ukraine to break Nord Stream 2”
So now the narrative is that the USA tricked Putin into declaring war? So putin according to the article is a simp? A rube? Easily manipulated by the west into declaring war?
Thirdly “Its “hard” economy is similar to the U.S. Steel production may be about the same, but intellectual capacity is vastly superior”
Err..nope, Russia may be 6th by gdp pop, however that is purely an extract9economy. It’s intellectual capacity is below Switzerlamd or Netherlands, forget about the USA. Oh and Russians ARE smart people, but the smart folks leave or have left the kleptocracy that is Putin’s regime.
Fourthly, “The Five Seas system – Black, Azov, Caspian, Baltic, White – enshrines Russia as a de facto continental naval power. Who needs warm waters?”
Really? How dumb does this author think his reader are???
The Black sea entrance is controlled by Turkey. Plus Romania and Bulgaria are black sea countries that are also part of NATO. The azov is a part of the black sea and the Caspian is a lake, which also has Iran at the other side.
The Baltic sea has Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Poland plus the Baltica. Russia does not control it.
The white sea is a froze part of the arctic sea and norway and japan and canada have a little to say about it
The rest of the article is sheer nonsense that shows the author thinks his readers are idiots. Do you believe him?
I not only agree with it, your statements are verifiable from multiple sources, not only western.
I 100% support your post 22 as accurate and factual
The USA in this century invaded Afghanistan and iraq.
I 100% supported the invasion of Afghanistan. And so did nearly all of the world except Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the UAE. It freed up millions of Afghans. It was good. The USA lost the peace.
I opposed the wars in iraq and still do.
In iraq, the people got touchy about the USA invading it.
In Ukraine the people get touchy about Russian invasions.
Yes. The USA did that in 1848. At the same time Russia was invading and occupying parts or iran, China etc. They still hold a large amount of chinese land.
That was in the 19th century, nearly 200 years ago.
We do things differently now, 200 years later. You can’t use that as justification for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine
What is your definition of globalist?
Oh, sorry, you did.
Russia and China talk of a global government under them.
“The two countries other than China that still hold the tightest to national sovereignty and self-determination”
Sorry, but that completely ignores the facts that Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, India, Ethiopia, iran, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine etc hold to national sovereignty and self determination.
Russia wants to crush Ukrainian national sovereignty and self determination
Cold War II, The regurgitation.
Hear! Hear!
Puts one in the mind of General McAuliffe’s response when the Nazis demanded his surrender.
All the Russophile Idiots can go sit on it, they are like a bad penny.
Get off spouting Communism here, sticking up for Vlad the Pedophile, that street works two ways. Enough of the Commie Russian prop. Russia is in such a sorry state, they can’t even field Olympic teams. Yeah, it’s always others fault.
Oh, “globalist”, that’s the most recent $20 word we hear used, how impressive. Add that to “Nato’s Faults”, “Nazis” and so on.
In the meantime, go to the back waters of Russia, poor country.
Allies to Russia,
Venezuela, Syria, China, Cuba.
They don’t seem to quite get thumbs up from North Korea.
So, there is “globalism, globalism, globalism” on the other side as well that can be remarked on.
