Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that if the Supreme Court overturned the Roe. v. Wade decision, “LGBTQ+ equality” is in danger.
Gillibrand said, “The argument that if we take away the filibuster, Mitch McConnell and Republicans across the country are going to do bad things. Those bad things are literally already happening. We have a Supreme Court that is unrelated to the normal process of the American people. When those Supreme Court justices say that precedent is the foundation of our legal system and said Roe v. Wade is precedent that’s entitled to respect under the laws of stare decisis, imply to every American they have no agenda to overturn Roe v. Wade and then go ahead and do it, we’re treating our rights and privileges in America in a way that no person imagined would happen.”

Nothing in the Alito draft decision prevents a solution from the federal level.
The FedGov doesn't have the constitutional authority to do so, other than a constitutional amendment. I don't see where you come up with the idea that they do.
Just because you don't think they have the constitutional authority doesn't mean they don't. Alito didn't limit controlling abortion to the states.
Alito doesn't decide...the Constitution does. All commentary on the leaked opinion says that abortion goes back to the states. By the same logic, gay marriage does also.
I'm counting on it.
Why should LGBTQ have MORE rights than other Americans? It’s a good bet that JellyBrain never read the Constitution. Her repeated election just goes to show how just plain STUPID and bereft of moral fiber many NYers are. They apparently like being represented by a moron libtard like her. So they must hold the same values and have the same rock-bottom IQ.
