A federal judge in San Francisco tossed a lawsuit from former President Trump against Twitter because of its decision to ban him from the platform after the January 6 riots in Washington D.C.
In his suit, Trump alleged that Twitter and other social media companies which moved to curb his speech were acting as de facto government agents and were therefore infringing on his first amendment rights.

That’s okay, I’m sure Musk will get around to unbanning him and others in due course. When that occurs, I think it will be more of a blanket amnesty, not specific to Trump.
"San Francisco"
Yes. Twitter HQ is in SF
Hopefully, Musk will move it.
Alex Berenson has a similar lawsuit that is very much alive where he has subpoened communications between Twitter and any government officals or agencies that mention him. The court has upheld his discovery motions thus far. If Berenson is able to make his case its going to open a whole new can of worms that President Trump might utilize in appealing this ruling.
Free speech in San Francisco only applies to topics of sexual depravity.
"any government officals or agencies"
A federal judge in San Francisco.. probably a male birthing person with fake white supremacist issues.
Donato is going to end up looking like the fool he is.
Obama appointee with a big time history degree from Berkeley. Woopee. Then Hah-vahd and Stahn-ford where the Made Guy Democrats all go after getting their irrelevant degrees from political activists at Cal.
Discovery in the Berenson case is where the Thugee kiddies at Twatter will be exposed. Right now we know they are madly deleting info from their servers before the new owner catches up to them, but everything is mirrored...hard to get away from it. The truth will come out.
Good to know!
Our judicial system has become a joke. A scary one though.

“were acting as de facto government agents”
This was always going to be a tough case to make, even if he brought it before a friendlier court.
Probably a much easier lawsuit to win would be to argue that, since there was clearly collusion between facebook, twitter and google/youtube to ban him and other conservatives in coordination, they are engaging in anti-competitive business practices. That wouldn’t necessarily get him restored to the platforms, but it could be devastating for the social media giants.
PDJT needs to focus on Truth Social, imho
What about a defamation lawsuit? Surely Twitter has repeatedly accused Trump of being a liar. Twitter has done so by publicly stating that Trump has violated its policies on spreading disinformation. So why not sue on the basis that many of these instances involved provably true statements by Trump; thus the claim that they were disinformation has defamed him. Being a public figure means he would probably not win such a case but perhaps he could get lucky with a judge and survive to the discovery stage.
The judicial system loses its credibility and becomes a joke when they are so blatantly politically biased.
