Another video only update.
Summary: Ship is now pretty much completely pumped out and riding high in the water. 95% of the water has been removed, most of the crews are leaving, they're still chasing small leaks/the remaining 5% of the water. Ship has a tiny list to starboard. The last of the on-board diesel fuel and hydraulic fluids is being removed so it won't continue to pollute. The entire ship is likely going to be getting repainted and they're going to resume cleaning the mussels off the hull.
They are now starting to investigate why the ship sank - they're looking for volunteers to help clean and repair the ship as well as investigate what happened among other tasks.

Regards,
Um, no? It’s a Fletcher-class destroyer from WW2 that’s currently a museum ship in Buffalo, NY. It sank at its moorings a few weeks ago. Fortunately, it was in shallow water so even though it sank to the bottom, it didn’t go much lower than part of the weather deck being awash.
Oh, that's a relief!
Those Black Sea waters are currently pretty dangerous, after all!
So, Putin hasn't laid any claims to Buffalo, has he? I mean: It does have a few percent ethnic Russian population, and maybe the one or two moonbats in need of "denazification," right?
Regards,
Thank you for the laughs.
Wonder when they change the name to the USS Whoopie Goldberg or the Stacie Abrams?
It’s no longer in US Navy service, so probably never.
Will the crew be getting a dolphins pin?
Thank goodness it wasn’t in Guam. It would have been lost if the island had tipped over.
Don’t think so, it only went sorta semi-submersible and not full-submersible. :P At no point was more than 50% of her weather deck awash.
