He was a lineman for the county…..

Obama himself said that American industry was gone, and it wasn’t coming back. So get used to it. On the other hand, Trump had a plan. He was going to try his best to bring the factories back, and prove Obama wrong.
So of course the union leadership endorsed Obama’s stooge Joe Biden over Trump. I guess party affiliation was more important than good jobs for Americans.
Oh the union leadership isn’t interested in helping the worker. It’s whole reason for being is to take money from the workers to hand it out to the elites. Unions havens given anything for workers in decades.
Maybe he will demonstrate the new chair…
> Oh the union leadership isn’t interested in helping the worker. <
Yep. I was a union member for most of my working career. And here’s one thing that many folks don’t realize. Most unions don’t let their membership vote for the state and national leadership. Those folks are instead chosen by committees. And how does one get on such a committee? It’s done by slate “voting” at the local level.
Why did I put voting in quotes there? Well, I could tell you voting stories that would make Stalin blush. Unions constantly preach democracy. But they sure don’t practice it.
GM is in big trouble now.
No one is going to buy their EV solutions as their track record is so bad long term.
They can’t seem to get their Z06 out of the barn plus the very advanced engine could be a problem.
Demand is unbelievable but its been 6 months since intro and they still don’t have a Nurbergring lap time public release.
“A top union group, the IBEW endorsed Biden in February 2020 as a then-candidate. “
Bummer, but GM was going down the tubes for two decades before the bankruptcy.
SlowJoe went from cast-off retread candidate to presumptive nominee in 10 days. It was an interesting process that I don’t really understand.
I hope he finds the electrical workers union convention colder then Frost Bite Falls, Minnesota on a cold day..!
While what you say is true, Bonds are legitimate corporate debt that are to be honored first by a bankruptcy judge. The Obama administration thief cast aside all precedent in favor of the UAW and politics
The bonds regularly paid interest for generations.
He only works for himself and family Hunter winks.
Nothing changed at GM so failure was expected.
I’m amazed they are still hanging on.
Thanks....... I was having a Biden moment and couldn’t remember his name.
Actually their costs went down dramatically.
As the old guys retire they get replaced by second tier minions making similar money to WalMart/Amazon, etc
and they still can’t make money or a quality product.
GM will die again.
Chicago and McCormick Place is losing more trade shows every year. It is just not the Union Corruption - it is the crime around McCormick Place - 22nd Street [Cermack] has become a full time war zone. You can not ride the Green Line from Downtown Hotels to the 22nd Street Stop without armed guards.
Short it (or buy puts) as you wish, but there’s always the risk of another govt intervention.
